Is there any way to use the WPA/WPA2 WiFi connections set up in the 3DS settings with DS games and DSiWare, maybe even replacing the DS config utility or modding the firmware in some way?
I know, but with a modded 3DS you don't have to follow some of the dumb decisions Nintendo madeSince the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS are compatible with WPA security, can I play Nintendo DS games online using WPA?
Nintendo DS Game Cards are only compatible with WEP security, and are not compatible with WPA security. So while you can enjoy other online features of the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS with WPA security, you cannot play Nintendo DS games online with any system if your network is secured with WPA.

DSiware and pretty much all DS games that came out after 2010 support WPA/WPA2 if you play them on a DSi or 3DS. Don't believe anybody who tells you otherwise. Is there any way to use the WPA/WPA2 WiFi connections set up in the 3DS settings with DS games and DSiWare, maybe even replacing the DS config utility or modding the firmware in some way?
But games such as mario kart ds don't. And twl mode modding isn't a new thing. somebody by the name of robz8 and shutterbug2000. They had done something most people would consider impossible, running nds games from a sd card, with save support. IN TWL MODE! So Id Imagine that if you can do that. there is a huge possibility that this wpa support isn't too far fetched.DSiware and pretty much all DS games that came out after 2010 support WPA/WPA2 if you play them on a DSi or 3DS. If you were to make a homebrew that would support WPA/WPA2 you'd have to make it able to run in DSi mode.
