Official hakchi2 - NES Mini very simple pimp tool

How do you resolve blur problems with certain games at certain times........

for example boss intro mega man 1, Battletoads first Booss ...............

@Tom780 I don't think that's possible, I had to remove Legend of Kage because of the same issues whenever the lightning effects happen, in Megaman/Rockman, since it's only the intros for the bosses I tolerated it since it doesn't affect gameplay.

Disable "epilepsy protection" in hakchi2 setting's menu.
 
I would not doubt for a moment I probably missed some of this in a thread this deep that updates pretty fast, but were the technicals behind this ever really explained?

I'm curious how this works internally on the little NES itself. It's quite interesting to see how you can create multiple folders that go A-Z, scroll through like a 100 games on a menu, and then at the end have another little icon with the nes pad and a return arrow over it. Was this all internal stuff maybe during test Nintendo used the hack has exposed, or are these added visuals and tweaks added through the hakchi tool itself and the NES CE just picks up on it?
 
Ok I have tried to upload all the USA roms and twice now it has failed. I get an "out of memory exception" after the fourth or fifth time you have to cycle the reset and power buttons. Any idea's says I have 707 games selected.
 
Question for everybody who has uploaded 500+ ROMs:

Is 8-bit cover art compression strictly necessary to allow enough space for all the ROMs / art / save states? I'm just curious as to whether or not it makes a material difference...

Maybe i missed it but what are the palette options with the command line
--ppu-palette=

--ppu-palette=<index/name> Specify the PPU palette (refer to code for values).

i only tried --ppu-palette=2 which renders the video output in black and white, it works and gives some extra nostalgic flashback, haven't tried other values sofar.

i would assume that when you enter a folder in the menu what happens is that on the internal writeable partition of the NCM another sandbox-directory gets mounted and the menu resets and reads new entries. the partition where the default 30 games are stored is presumed read-only. for more info you could either ask cluster or analyze the sourcecode.

I have tried a few times and get about 3/4 of the way through, done the reset/ power cycle about 4-5 times and I get a box that says "Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. please try again"
Any idea of what is going on to cause this?
