Question is: can one copy of MK8 deluxe (or anyother game) be played by 4 players in a wireless LAN/system link mode? Or does each player have to have a copy?
i saw on another thread that it i9s most likely that each player need his own copy
after all, those game weigth around 8-64gb
too much data to transfer

The joys of portable gaming. "Just one more race" until your legs are too numb to get off the shitter.
Ahh, the life.

you know, not everyone has google fibe with 1Gbps speed
But you would be transferring between consoles locally, not over the internet.

That said, I doubt you would need to copy the entire game; shared play, if available, will probably be Shy Guys in a default kart on a single track.

It wouldnt work so well with big games.
The idea behind remote play, is the guest downloads a small part of the game. This gets put onto the system in a flash area. Then the rest of the game is stream to the guest system.
For small games there isnt any problems. But when the games are bigger and more detail. You will loss alot of the detail and information.
Just think about when you have lag on the net. You might be on front then lag out and your in last.
This would happen alot if your streaming this to 3 other system.
Vs everyone having there owning there own game and all your streaming is X,Y locations of the other players.

So with that in thought i doubt it would work for Mario Kart. Maybe smaller games like boomberman, with one guest player.

I still think its always better to have your own game. Its just smoother and from a company stand point it makes more sense in terms of money and working.
