As far as I can tell, they're already decompressed? If not how would I go about decompressing them?
It's in the tutorial. Go to PK3DS, then to Tools>Misc. Tools> de(Compress)LZ11 and it will give you a decompressed .bin (dec_0000.bin). Then do it in reverse to recompress, and rename the .lz to .bin, then replace the old one.

So, I edit the texture normally and I get the dark spots around the eyes do you know how to fix that?
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "dark spots"

I mean like the base color of the pokemon is darker around the eyes than on the rest of the body

Oh that grey area, I see what you mean. Hmm I'm not entirely sure why editing the texture isn't working. Like you turn it white and it just stays grey regardless? That's weird. Could you send me your textures and the bin # for Litten? I'll see if it does the same thing to me. If I can fix it, I'll return the textures and tell you how.

It didn't work it looks the same as the one i sent.
Did you just look at it or actually try it? There was a lot of grey left on the left hand side of the body texture that I overwrote with white. A big grey circle, a grey bar and a few grey lines. I couldn't see them at first without tilting my screen.

I see the changes but there is still that grey area on the face.

It doesn't appear to be fixed but It looks at lot better. :(
Sorry ;( It's a mystery where the grey is coming from Lol I would actually invert the colors or do something crazy and make each section of the texture a different color to try to pin point where it's coming from. It's odd, that part of the face on the texture is white on the PC but grey in game. Very weird.. But it's not like that on regular shiny Litten either. Hmmmm

Wonder if anyone else has edited Torracat yet and could tell you.
Well, I have edited the whole litten line and all of them have it but for some reason when I edited Garchomp it doesn't?

EDIT: So, making a brand new Normal Map texture for the eyes seems to fix it but I now have the iris problem again.

does this method + saltySD work with luma3DS + ntr ? I've modded the file, patch the code.bin, put the files where do they belong but no success.
