Hacking Which guide should I follow

My wii u turns up tomorrow so I'm looking at modding it.

However there is no plailect guide like there is for 3ds and a few guides floating around. I was hoping people who have done this before could point me in the best and most upto guide that I shall follow. Last thing I want to do is brick this thing.

Don't worry, there is no "guide" as the hacks are varied. It boils down to this: If you want """"backups"""" (you know what i mean) then you need to

1. go to wiiubru.com/go on your wii u with an SD card inserted, select HBAS
2. Download the Homebrew launcher and WUPinstaller GX2
3. Download a game using https://gbatemp.net/threads/a-simple-gui-for-funkiiu-funkii-ui.446853/ on your pc, move the install folder to SD card
4. restart wii u, go to wiiubru.com/x and select wupinstaller gx2
5. install game
6. profit

I can't vouch for it personally as I haven't used it, however it seems some people are calling it the Plailect guide of Wii U.

If you use funkiiui (https://gbatemp.net/threads/a-simple-gui-for-funkiiu-funkii-ui.446853/) it tells you how much space a game takes up while searching for it.

wupinstaller mod y
"wii u usb helper" on PC


no browser no rednand no bloat
plays any game and any region
just be careful with CBHC and don't take any initiative to do weird "haxxor" things (like some people bricking and doing obsolete stuff while not even being sure why)

There are so many of these threads.
The reason might be that "the definite guide" (you all know, the sticked one which - without a doubt - is great so far) is more like an overview than a hacking guide.
What noobs are thinking of when they're asking for a hacking guide is either on how to get into the Homebrew Launcher and/or how to run backups.
