Can't stop until it's perfect.

Version 2.08: https://github.com/ClusterM/hakchi2/releases/tag/2.08
  • Fixed unhandled exception bug when game with unsupported mapper selected.
  • Fixed bug when NES Mini is not detected on some computers.
  • Select all/unselect all feature, just right click on games list.
  • Uninstall feature just in case you want to remove all hakchi traces.
  • Four-screen check (it's not supported by NES Mini).
  • Mapper #71 games automatically patched to mapper #2 , so you can play Camerica/Codemasters games: Micro Machines, Bee 52, Dizzy series, etc. One exception: Fire Hawk.
  • Fix for Google search (thanks to Bin4ry!). This feature should work for all now.
  • Added Drag&Drop support. You can just drag&drop .nes file to list of games.
  • Help menu with links to FAQ and GitHub

@Cluster Wow, cool.

I have two questions, will there be some sort of command line support for FDS games
Will there be a possibility that there is more mapper support, that would mean to rewrite the emulator, or to convert all the difficult mapper roms that go in.

@Cluster is possible to make this on the original games include built in system
Rgs.
Yes. But using weird ways... Need to create script which will edit profiles of internal games. It's better to hide original game and add it on your own if you really want it.

You can find command line arguments list in first post, including ones for FDS games.
Maybe somebody will port some other NES emulator to NES Mini. I believe that it's not so hard but I'm not so good at Linux :(
There are already many mapper patches on the Internen since they are handy for cartridge reproduction makers.

@Cluster Your work is Epic!! Had issue with custom kernel audio delay. Ran 2.08 with remove all hakchi traces then reinstalled custom kernel. WORKED LIKE A CHARM!! I guess there were random traces causing the audio delay. Thank you for all your effort and hard work.

@Cluster: When I take your source code and compile it with Visual STUDIO 15, I have the led that lights up after the flash :( I did not change anything, I just added my folder dump and game and config .ini. if i flash original kernel and after custom kernel I have the led of the Nes Mini flashing.

I have a quick question for the developer cluster. I clicked on the link above for the most recent version of your application and I only see a link for an "open source zip" file? Initially you also listed an .exe zip file for download. Does the source code zip have the exe file I need to run your program? If not, I would like a download link for the exe.

Also, what version of Windows is required to run the program. Lastly, is there a MAC version available as well?

Check that all files in "mods\*\bin" except "busybox" has "system" attribute.

Fixed. Sorry. I'm very inattentive.

So all I need to download is that exe file to run the program correct? Also, what versions of Windows will work?

I apologize for the basic questions as I am new to this mod scene.

It should work on windows 7 (32 & 64) and windows 10, as long as you have the .NET Framework 3.5 or higher installed

It should be in your standard Windows update package, just check if it is installed on your windows, (probably should)
