Luma is regionfree. Install the cia however you want

I have installed US CIAs on my New 3DS XL EU with Luma3DS, and they all work fine (it's just the manual that does not work) due to how Luma3DS region-frees the system.

Also, you don't have to use SocketPunch for everything you install.

I mean i use socketpunch so i dont need to put the CIA on my SD before installing because my sd doesnt have that much free space, i just wanted to confirm that i can still use it and ok now... i use luma for the CIA, perfect.

Thank you guys.

PS: I really love this community (even tho i only have 7 messages in 4+ years e.e

Yeah that'll work, just make a backup of the sd content on the previous smaller card, format the card to fat32 then paste it all onto the new card :)

I really hope you're joking, because if not, you are entirely incorrect. FAT32 is named as such because cluster values are represented by 32-bit numbers (as opposed to FAT16, FAT12, or 8-bit FAT). SDHC cards were first released in 2006, whereas FAT32 dates 10 years prior.

In that case it's an easy way or remembering. Ik it's not why they're called that but it's related.

Oh ok, seems like socketpunch doesnt work on the new FBI, are there any other ways to install the CIA from the pc to the 3ds? or can this be solved?

The way FBI handles network installs was changed. If you go to the releases tab on the github for FBI, the 2.4.6 ZIP file has a python script in it called Servefiles that should work.
