Hello, this is my first post here as I have been a long time lurker.
I followed https://3ds.guide/ to the T and have my device (N3DSXL 11.2.0-35U) running A9LH + Luma3DS (both updated and on the latest Versions). Mind you this 2 weeks ago and done when the device was on 10.7

The issue is when playing games (CIA files from that site or freeshop) or just entering or exiting out of the default apps on the device, it freezes and turns black. It happens within 5 - 20 minutes. I listed a set of questions which some of you guys would ask with a response to make things simpler. The device is running fine now but I know if I start a game, it will freeze and turn black.

Have you done a NAND restore? Yes, to 9.2 and updated back

Have you tested the SD card for errors?
Yes, with h2testw. The issue happens more when the SD is inserted but does happen when there is no SD also. (rarely but does occur)

Can you run Luma via (holding Select)/ or hourglass9?
Yes, they work perfectly.

Have you followed the troubleshooting guide?
Yes multiple times, with all the steps.

Did you place arm9loaderhax.bin in CTRNAND?
Yes, on the SD card root as well. (updated A9LH)

What else happens once it is black?
Sometimes, but rarely the device says it created a dump file. I retry turning it back on and it says Failed to mount CTRNAND. I then turn it on again and it runs fine.

I hope someone can help me. Thank you

It's always a good idea to restore from a clean, non-downgraded nand (keep a9lh option). Did you restore from a nand that was pre-downgrade? I have no idea if that's in the guide, but you should always do it if you can. I've done about 10 a9lh's with no issue.

I restored from NANDmin.bin that was downgraded to 9.2, which I then backed up. The device runs fine when on 9.2, but only arises once upgraded to 11.2.

Thank you but the issue is still there. I also tried fixing it by deleting Nintendo 3DS folder, to see if there was a corrupt game or save causing it but the device still freezes randomly.

Edit: I have also noticed that the data and time changes whenever the device turns on.
