Hi, I recently had an incident with my Wii U killing 2 of my flash drive: One is a Sandisk 32 GB Cruzer Glide, and the other a Sandisk 16 GB Cruzer Blade. I used the 16 GB one as a backup as randomly one day, my vWii decided to not load backups. I use WiiFlow Mastermod as my loader, as I can't get USB Loader GX or CFG to load. I also use Nintendont for GameCube games, and depending on which port the drive is plugged into, is what I am playing that time (Judging if the system is horizontal, and the Wii U logo is upright, The top port I use for Wii backups and the bottom port is for GameCube backups/Nintendont.) So I plug it in to my computer, and just shows a D: drive, and when I try to open it, it gives me a error. So I try to format it then, error formatting! After that, I figure that "Eh. It's old, probably dead", and I dig out my 16 GB drive which I have had since SEPTEMBER of this year and barely touched it at all, and put Brawl and Kirby Air Ride on there. For the time being, had trouble running Brawl, went to the flash drive compatibiltiy chart, found out that I had to format to NTFS, and I really did not want to go through the trouble of reformatting just to play Brawl (and not to mention, Nintendont is Fat32 only), I decide to play Kirby Air Ride instead, when I boot up Nintendont, go to USB, and noticed that it wasn't showing up. "Ah, Crap! Forgot to rename the ISO!" So I take the drive out, and hard shutdown the system, Plug it in to my PC, Same error as before! Formatted, Error. After what happened with the first drive, I basically thought there was some weird error with my system/ports. I come here asking if there is any way to fix this/pet cemetery my flash drives, since I may need them for school, etc.
