OP
So, a while ago I posted about this New 3ds my friend gave me to fix. I installed A9LH to the system previously but now it won't turn on. The main problem is that when the system does not have an SD card or an SD card without the a9lh.bin (yes it is actually named arm9loaderhax.bin, that is not the problem) it turns on and the blue light fades out like it is supposed to. However, when the a9lh.bin is found, it turns on but immediately cuts the light.
Visual demonstration.

Problem: -------

As you can see, this is proving very problematic. It may be a hardware problem; however, I am making him pay for any new pieces we need and I am worried I will give him the wrong thing to buy.

I installed A9LH on his New 3ds before SafeA9LH installer was made.

This is what happened when I put JUST the Luma 6.6 a9lh.bin on the SD card (it is supposed to autogenerate everything)

If there is any information left out that needs to be known, I will try to answer the questions.

did you install luma to the ctrnand? Or did you follow 3ds.guide before that was implemented?
I did this before that (iirc) I know that I did this before May 19, 2016. That was the day these people graduated from college and went on vacation. He gave it to me in September (of this year).

Sorry for the double post, but I also followed Plailect's guide. Sorry, not sure what all of this means.

So you can't boot any payloads or the luma options menu?

Sounds more and more like a hardware problem.
Yes. I believe it is. I am guessing it has to do with the microSD reader
It doesn't even get to the Luma menu, or a bootROM error screen

Since you have a different outcome when the sd is inserted vs. not inserted - that makes me think the sd card reader is fine. I think the issue is probably a short on the mobo.

Alright
If I can get it open I will send pictures of the motherboard

Damn it! I don't have the right screwdrivers to get it open anymore.
