Hacking Any Progress On The 300 Title Limit?

Lets get this straight, you insinuated that I steal. Correct? I don't care about breaking the law being a smoker of the green and all and the fact I own a flash card for the paid collection of my DS games. I do care about stealing tho and thats someone I haven't done as I can afford to buy carts considering we sold the farm I used to live on back in 1985 for 4 million quid and as I got old enough to have a part of that I inveseted it well. Yes thats a part of my life story no one asked for and I won't go into why I have so many games because of my O.C.D that comes with the Asperges I suffer with and like a pokemon trainer "I got to catch em all"

Anyone have any idea of any guys in the scene that like to work on this kind of stuff, are good at it, and might be willing to take on this challenge? That's one of the questions we really should be asking. So I'm asking it now.

Shouldn't matter, we're not running out of online real estate by asking this question every once and awhile, GBAtemp can handle a repeat thread every few months (and its been quite a while since the last topic on this specifically was made). In fact a quick search revealed that this is only the 4th topic we've ever had on the discussion in relation to the 3DS.
3. OP doesn't need to provide insight on how to make it a reality. He's just curious if any headway has been made, and also drawing attention to the issue for those that may not even be aware of the limit. There is seriously no harm in creating this thread at all.
4. It is difficult obviously, but also not impossible, knowing both of those things, it should be clear why people ask about this from time to time.

Seriously, if you hate seeing threads like this, then simply don't respond to them, you have nothing productive to contribute to the topic clearly, and the topic seems to annoy you for some reason, so just ignore it, it clearly doesn't pertain to you.

Also why would you say you completely disagree to my point that if we abided to Nintendo's restrictions then we wouldn't have things that this scene has unlocked, if you agree that bypassing the 300 title isn't impossible?

Sorry for the confusion. I disagreed to me not being enthusiastic nor appreciative of the homebrew scene. I forgot to exclude that when I responded. I apologize for that.

1. Not impossible by any means. Especially this generation, many new hackers have entered the playing field for the very first time.
2. It does matter. If there were progress, it would've been announced. 4th topic not deleted. Big difference.
3. The issue is widely known and widely talked about. Again, if any headway were made, it would've been announced. There is no harm in doing anything online. It's just basically spam without any contribution to the topic being 300 title limit.
4. Exactly. People ask for it from time to time. It's not something new. It's been talked about. Especially with the Nintendo scene, projects and new hacks are announced on so many different sites. Even if OP was away for 2 years, if it were possible it would come up in a search right away.

I hate spam, which is basically what this thread is. The topic does not annoy me. People being rude, condescending and attempting to word their way around the law annoys me.

It pertains to every member of this community. Being one of those, it pertains to me just as much as it does anybody else here.

If you knew me from online, you'd know I hate being called Oregon, lol. Okay, so you weren't talking about me. You still told me i had problems, needed psychiatric help, and needed an adult to hold my hand. So please, pretend to be all high and mighty with yourself.

I'd argue that the only spam happening here are people prolonging meaningless conversations, lets please stay on the topic at hand (and if you view this topic as spam, then clearly this topic is not for you, because for me it is of interest, and I certainly do not view it as spam at all). And if you have nothing productive to add to the topic at hand, then please just excuse yourself from this topic. (By the way it is only the 4th topic on this specific subject, not the 4th to be not deleted, this is a topic I'm very passionate about, I visit this site daily, finding that this is only the 4th topic is pretty much exactly in line with how many topics I've seen on the topic over time).

So again, I ask, does anyone know any coders that are great at this kind of thing and are looking for a challenge to take on? We need to find the right people to reach out to, if we do, I'm sure someone might actually at least take a stab at it. That would really be fantastic. So for people that are also passionate about this subject, please keep talking about it here, keep this thread current and maybe the right person will notice it and feel the desire to give it a shot.

I have no problems typing what I mean and calling on the names of the people that I am talking about. Get a grip. Now it is possible to break any limit of anything on the 3DS if you want to and have the know-how. Few years ago it wasn't possible to run ROMs. People said it would never happen. Those people were wrong. So are you.

Hell, I'll admit it, I was a nay-sayer to the idea of a softmod on the 3DS before one was ever released. On this site even, and for awhile, I was certain I was right, spreading that smug, "It's never gonna happen" attitude in other people's faces when they'd ask if progress was being made on 3DS softmods. And yet now look at me, wishing we could go beyond the 300 title limit because of how damn soft modded my 3DS has become over the years. Yeah, I was wrong, and I was wrong big time, I admit it, and I think it probably contributes to my overall current attitude of "we can do this, we just need the right knowledge on how" that I apply to just about everything in life now.

There's not enough reverse-engineering work done on the home menu, and chances are, Nintendo took another shortcut and 300 is not only a number, but also causes UI issues if it's beyond that.
TLDR: Need more RE work, and possibly a modified homemenu CIA

I just think there needs to be an "approval" system for threads....the Wii U section had people CONSTANTLY saying "there is an update" because they had a red X on their downloads...then you got people that violate the site rules by asking for pirated games...

Well, in my my N collection, I have:

2 GBA's (EZ-Flash IV + GBA Everdrive),

2 ds-lite's (R4 Cards x2) and 3 (All models) of 3DS running on A9LH + 1x Gateway card and a R4i Gold NDS flash card for good measure.

1)not enough reverse engineering done

BTW is the limit larger on N3DS?
or is 300 the N3DS limit? Because I do remember quiet clearly the home menu being several pages larger in N3DS when I upgraded from O3DS.

I think its constant across all models
