Hacking Format PS3 HDD to work on PC?

I am trying to format my old PS3 HDD so I can use it on my PC then turn it into a .WBFS partition. The weird thing is my PC doesn't detect the PS3 HDD. I used EaseUS, WBFS Manager, Swiss Knife, and the default Windows drive manager. EaseUS and Windows drive manager detect it, but I don't get any format options. Someone please help. Thanks.

just plug it in the Computer and format. no problem to use it in PC/Laptop

Have you read the actual thread itself? It is being detected, but doesn't give me the option to format in any partition manager. Thanks for trying though.

Go into disk management and delete any volumes on it

i always use partition master from Easus but i just read you tryed that as well...

hmmm maybe a live Linux Disc could really solve your problem.

That is all I see. The Disk 1 is my hdd, although it doesn't give me any delete, format, etc options.

So create a partition on the drive and assign a letter it is empty
