and of course I will wait what happens at CCC this year before I attempt any slowhax or a9lh... Maybe there will be an even better solution.

But what happened to the alleged a9lh bricks who just updated luma3ds? I cannot find the threads anymore but there were a few ppl claiming they bricked due to updating luma?!

Can't really "corrupt" a9lh by updating luma. I'm pretty sure it loads a payload from the sdcard, so it could simply be a corrupt payload

ok, thanks for clearing that up. will try a9lh or something even better after CCC.
