Hacking Updating rxTools to Luma3ds?

This may be a little bit noobish but I have not been kept up to date with all the details but I can't gen Pokemon now because my emunand won't read my Pokemon Sun.

So can anyone walk me through the process of updating please? I would do it but the guide on 3dsChaos online and my firmware is at 8.0 something and all the other guides need mine to be at 9.0+

Literally, changing rxtools to luma is as easy as getting luma, putting it on your SD card, and changing a launcher/DAT file. You can keep rxtools, but you'll have to move a few files; youtube can definitely be used.

But it isn't that simple for you.
I think the S/oon plugin only runs on n3ds (don't know what model you have), and as far as 9.2, there might be a file somewhere. I'll pm you about that.

No. Menuhax only works on 9.0+. It exploits the themes, which didn't exist before 9.0.

Hey guys, you areae all so help! And im sorry for posting this question in the wrong area.

A Little update:
1. I tried using sysupdater.cia to update my sysnand from 8.1 - 9.2. I can say I kinda know what to do, because it DID downgrade my EMUNAND from 11.xx to 9.2 instead of updating my sysnand from 8.1 to 9.2

ANy insight?

My insight is that you should probably follow this guide instead of trying to update your sysNAND: http://3ds.guide/

If you are dead set to update your sysNAND with the sysUpdate.cia for some reason, you actually have to install and run sysUpdater on sysNAND.
