What size is your microSD card for the R4?

It's a 2GB Sandisk MicroSD formatted to FAT with 32KB allocation unit size, this screen comes up for these forwarders but also all the apps @Apache_Thunder has made to make R4 Cards work on 3ds' :s not sure why it does this, or what the screen even is/does

If you're using a New3DS, make sure the R4 card is way in the Slot-1 card slot.

I've tried jamming it all the way in with my finger on my New3ds, the photo is on a 2ds though, same thing happens, basically a menu with no text, the 3 buttons are clickable but open little boxes with no writing in either

Formatted it to FAT 32kb, remade the forwarders and installed one to 2ds, still shows the same menu when booting the game

I'm guessing your card is somehow incompatible.

I have 2 of these original R4's and both give this screen, To my knowledge they work on DS Lites but I don't have one around to test it

Guess i'm fluffed until boot from SD is a thing Thanks for helping though!

so i did the steps and the fowarder doesn't show up in my home menu

Try waking the system from sleep mode, or reboot your console.
