Hacking 11.0 downgrade w/ Skycard questions

I currently have a A9LH 3DS on the latest system firmware. I recently recieved another 3DS on 11.0 firmware, as well as a Skycard (which Ive yet to actually open or use).

My questions are pretty simple and have probably been asked 100 times, so I apologize for that in advance. But I need to know:

1) Is it possible to install A9LH on the 11.0 system, using my currently hacked console and/or Skycard ?

2) If I have to use an entrypoint game (smashhax, oothax, etcetc), which would be best/easiest to use (particularly without having to also buy Powersaves or anything like that)

I plan on starting this mission tomorrow, giving me the weekend to work and tinker with it at my discretion. Before then, if anybody could help clear this stuff up, or hit me with some links to tutorials for this exact issue- I would be greatly appreciative.

I know as of now I could just use the Skycard and call it a day, but id feel safer and much prefer having my new 3DS A9LH-ed out

Edit: I have heard of the method involving system transfer.. but Id prefer to leave this as an absolute last resort.. as I dont want to lose anything on my OG 3DS, or have to purchase a game Ill never play in order to make it happen

By skycard I assume you mean a SKY3DS+?
1) You need a hardmod or do the DSiware downgrade to install A9LH on a 11.x firmware.
2) With a SKY3DS+ you have all the primary and secondary entry points. Just download the ROM from somewhere.

Yeah, thats what I meant.

So my only option is to also buy a DSIware game on the unhacked console? Im not even sure this is an option for me (system transfer) considering I was unfortunate and dumb enough to get my original NNID/console banned during the SuMo banwave. Im currently just using the 1234 localfriendseed to play online.. as I never really used eshop or NNID for anything before. I also was avoiding doing any setup on the new 3DS until its hacked out, as its intended to be a gift for someone else.

The main reason I dont want to system transfer is I dont want to lose my games/saves from my OG 3DS. How does this work exactly? Ive never done system transfer before. I was severly off put by the idea once I read id have to wait a week to restore it to my old 3DS.. plus Ive been assuming my banning might complicate things. Which I guess I could always fix the NNID ban.. but im trying to do as little work as possible here lol

If I really have no other choice Ill probably just use the skycard and stay on 11.0 till some new exploits release. Sorry for rambling, and thanks for the speedy reply.
