as the title says, is it possible to use WUP installer to install ds vc games (i assume no? idk)
i was trying to buy some games from nintendo, but i usually buy point cards, this time i didnt have enough points so i had to use my debit card. upon adding my card before i even hit purchase i was falsely charged to my account (failed transaction i might add) said my address was wrong but it never once asked my for address. then i tried again to add slowly and their was still no option to add address and it failed with a different error code (again charged me!) now my account is locked!!! and i dont have no enough money left to try again!!! the fuck nintendo!!!! now i have to call both of them tomorrow both nintendo and paypal.

Given that Nintendo doesnt allow PayPal, trying to use a linked CC as a workaround doesnt sound like a good idea.

Call them and try to get a refund. Same with PayPal

but you need rednand for that right? cant do that on systemnand?
No you don't :) there's a firmware.img on that iso site that does nothing but boot your sysNAND without sig checks. There's also an app for the homebrew launcher that does this so you don't even need that fw.img

oh? i wasn't aware of that, so this firmware.img is just a simple patch to my existing FW? whats the brick ratio if you had to scale it?
EDIT: i did some reading on it and for me it defeats the purpose.

Why does it defeat the purpose? The brick ratio is zero.

What address did you use when you set up the PayPal-enabled debit card? If the Billing ZIP code you enter on the eShop does not match the Debit Card's registered ZIP code, there will be an error.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.
