If you mean the "a" folder, those aren't compiled cores, only the source files.
Nope, there is one that says TEST rpx and that one has the psx one, that works horrible but its there xD

EDIT: The only difference i see right now is, the one from the official beta wont run any of my games, but the one from @FIX94 does... so don't really know what is all that about..

Interesting. So the Med PSX core can be compiled and it works? (half speed but it effin works)

Now we need a dynarec. Can it be adaptaed from the WiiSX one? Also, doesn't Xbox 360 also uses a PPC CPU? Does Xbox 360 have a PSX emulator with Dynarec?

This gets more exciting day by day :) I was already happy with my Wii U, now this is too awesome.

(Also, i need a bigger SD card)

Do current builds of Retroarch use full 3 CPU cores? or just one core? Would emulation benefit from the 2 extra cores ? Thanks!

Afaik, emulation regularly uses 1 single core, that's why single core power is so important and, as extension, why Intel CPUs are so obscenely better than AMD CPUs in that regard.

Anyway, for those up there that said that we shouldn't expect too much from Wii U, i think you're underplaying it too much. Wii was already capable to emulate PSOne to a certain extent with its Broadway @729 Mhz. Wii U has the same Power7 CPU per core @1.24 Ghz. If 200 Mhz made a huge difference with my old Athlon X2, i can only guess how a PSX core will run on Wii U (Well, we already have some examples. Try running Garou MotW on Wii)

Yes effectively Wii U Retroarch can already do everything PS3 retroarch does (CPS3, Mame ...). Hopefully that 1.2Ghz core would be enough for PSX and N64.

Getting really excited over here... I can run nearly perfect Medal of Honor on Wii's Wiisxr, We can achieve perfection on Wii U's extra power!

AFAIK, on a PC, PSX emulators could run pretty much full speed on every game with 900 MHz to 1 GHz just fine, on a single core CPU, it'll require more optimization sure. But the Wii U is definitely capable, it'll take time, but it can be done.

But I can't check because the site's offline right now :P

Is the cheatings with the snes9x 2010 working or it doesnst work for the moment ?
Use regular Snes9x 1.53, it runs pretty much perfectly and is better than 2010.

Is there a way to mitigate server costs for Libetro/RetroArch at all? I feel that's the reason for the site being on/off. Maybe donations? I ask because the site and team could use extra support :P
 
tried pal version of riiiiiddddge raceerrrrrrr and works, loads quick but performance obviously about half - still amazing to see!
Someone had to try it!
 
Does anyone know of a build that includes sound? Libretro is notorious for this lack of capability, but if it does have sound support, I'd be impressed!

It has sound, and how is libretro notorious for lack of sound? The very first (well, second) alpha build of RetroU had sound support, and it works great!
