Hey all. I have a DSi and it's bloated with all the roms, so going through all of them through a twiglight menu has been a bit of a pain in the b**.
That's why I made a DSi Library Launcher.
It's a launcher that lists all your games as a good ol' Nintendo DS.

Just transfer the DSiLibrary.nds to your SD card and run it.
All roms should be in /roms/nds/.

**NOTE**: Be sure to backup all your save files first.

If something is not working correctly or you have a suggestion, please post to this thread, thanks.

DSiLibrary – build v261004

New
- Recent tab: your last 20 played games, newest first. Y now cycles All > Favorites > Recent.
- Remembers where you left off: reopens on the same tab and game after you play or exit.
- L/R jump to the previous/next letter, with a big letter popup so you see where you landed.
- Battery icon in the header (teal while charging, gold when low).
- Free space on the card shown in the game details.
- Automatic save backups: the last 3 versions of each save are kept in saves/backups/
(Name.1.sav = newest). To restore, copy one over saves/Name.sav. Saves over 1 MiB are skipped.

Fixed
- Game names showing "?" for ™, ®, curly quotes, dashes, "…" and accents like Ō.
Japanese-only titles now fall back to the filename.

Update: replace DSiLibrary.nds on your SD root. Nothing else to copy.

Yes, it actually is a frontend for nds_bootstrap. Not sure about 3DS as I don't have one myself.
That's very cool. I do have a 3DS but it's not in my house right now. It would be sweet to have a light DS frontend on 3DS. Twilight Menu boots too slow on my SD

This looks cool, but lemme ask, who does one need to back up their saves?

Oh you are right, that makes sense! Hopefully someone with a 3DS can try it out.

Not sure I follow? Everyone should back up their saves in case something goes wrong with the launcher, but it shouldn't.

Tested it last night and it works great only issue is of course the dsi games but that's a whatever. The other is it couldn't recognize the English translation of ni no kuni, it was just all ? marks at the end of the list, every other translation showed up in order. As for a recommendation L & R don't seem to do anything, maybe use them as a page jump or some faster way to move down the list.

Great observation, will add them to the to-do list, thank you.

Hey would this work on a 3DS as well?
I am not sure as I only have DSi to test with.

Implemented in the last version, feel free to test it. I have updated the initial post.
