Hacking What choices do I have now?

I recently bought a CFW 11.2 o3ds and would like to use it to hack (through dsiware downgrade) my n3ds. The problem is, whenever I attempt to buy a free game (youtube), the 3ds asks me to link a NNID. When I click Create a New ID, it returns error 022-2812. I believe this is a ban. Is there any way I could get past this, and if there is, when I system transfer to my n3ds, will the ban transfer over also?

If it's banned, you won't be able to use system transfer back, or forth that 3ds.

It would appear you got scammed by the seller if you paid full price for this, there are ways to bypass the 2812 ban, but i don't know if anybody tried to do a system transfer after unbanning themselves. at least the one banned is hacked, so there's a little hope. Wait for more people to reply.

May I ask who scammed you? Was it through craigslist?

You need to have a spare CFW 3ds to dump the localfriendcodeseed_b from.

Edit: You don't need to fix that error for system transfer though (it only hinders online multiplayer). Just fixing the nnid ban will allow you to do dsi downgrade.

if you're only getting that error try following this tutorial to change the nnid, if later you get the 002 error you'll need a clean lfcs b which has to be dumped from a clean ds :/

btw (i'm assuming you don't have much experience with cfw) to run decrypt on your 3ds (which i'm assuming is a arm9lh+luma) you have to download decrypt9 from here and put the .bin file on the luma>payloads folder and name it to anything like "left_decrypt9" just don't do "up" and then press the button the same time the ds boots

Yes, but the LFCS_b won't allow you to do system transfer - it only unbans multiplayer

it works for both errors the first part fixes the id ban
