Just throwing out an idea.
Let's say you have a NAND backup from al9h installation. However, the movable.sed + LCFS is the same as the ones that are currently banned. I tried injecting a different LCFS and movable.sed file. I then compared the NANDmin.bin files and found out that lines B9BC000/08 - B9BC130/0F as well as B9C000/00 - B9CC100/0C were changed as a result of changing the LCFS and movable.sed files. Now, when I compare those specific lines of my current banned NANDmin.bin to the NANDmin.bin file I backed up during installation - those lines are different. Even though the movable.sed and LCFS is the same.

I just wanted to throw out that I switched from the leak to an actual, physical copy of the game when it was released and I just got banned yesterday. I imported my save, which I assume is why. But I really, really doubt it has anything to do with something as simple as the start date on your save seeing as how you set the time in your 3DS settings yourself, and this is primarily a children's game and expecting them to have the accurate date and banning them if they don't seems a little extreme. I would strongly recommend either starting a new game completely, or not going online at all.

You know that the bans were giving after a while, right? I had a friend that did go online before with me, he didn't get banned until after the 18th. It's not about the save, its about if you ever got online on the Festival Plaza or not.

Bans are retroactive. So if you connected online at all before the release, you're gonna get banned. Even if you did switch to a legit copy.

Why do people do this?

You need to say the RELEVANT information, namely: did you go ONLINE before the 18th? If yes, then you were banned because of THAT. If not, then everyone's screwed because Nintendo can now either ban people with changed time settings or using cart dumps, which is nearly everyone using CFW.

Relevant information, please...

I didn't get banned, but probably since I don't have CFW or a flashcard so I had to get the game legitimately after release through the eShop.
So you didn't play the game online until after release and you weren't banned? NO WAY! Please give us details! This is amazing news!

....get out.

so just saying is the twitter guy legit or no?

last heard the first 16 and last 16 digits on the lcfb file were the same

We don't really know, but he's not useful with all the cryptic messages... what's the point of teasing people like that?
I wont say he lied since he had already figured out creating new movable.sed and thus FLC seed in return. How he is unbanning people is by creating new seeds by the method he discovered/hiding, editing their files by process we know.
What we don't know is that method or will he release the raw steps or not. He;s trying to achieve a simplified method from what I can make out from his posts..

Some have said they'll tell you exactly what time you went online in an "unauthorized" manner. Might shed some clues.
Speaking of that, is it possible someone else in your household played your 3ds when you weren't looking? Any brothers or sisters around? Might be time for a little interrogation session. :P
Haha, no, the only person other than me is my husband, and he has his own 3ds to ruin. (Though as of last night I have certainly been interrogating him and making sure he didn't go online on his 3ds...)
Either way I'm just gonna wait it out. And, you know, replay all my old Pokemon games and build up my bank again...with homebrew.
