Hacking Gateway and Pkmn Sun Issue

I have Pkmn Sun and dumped full cart to Gateway with Decrypt9. When I tried to launch game on gateway, it froze when game was creating extra data to SD card. I forced system off and rebooted, game said save was corrupted and even froze when trying to delete that... Is anyone else experiencing this and/or know a fix? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated

Pitch the gateway in the trash and use luma cfw like a real man.

My guess is that gateway doesn't have the required firm for pokemon sun/moon. Switch to luma! I'm sure there will be people swarming in with the link to the holy Bible of 3ds hacking aka Plailect guide

I do have Luma and A9LH installed. Thing is, all of my games are on my GW in .3ds format. I can launch game cart fine, but still want to use JKSM and PkHex... Can I still do those with game cart?

you mean your actual cartridge? i think so.. JKSM got a Cartridge option..you should be able to do that with your legit game.. but yeah, im not forcing you but might i suggest you use a CIA file installed to 3DS instead of using .3DS with gateway? it is more convenient..IMO of course..

well, the the retail game also doesn't work on sky3ds+, must be some kind of new protection

How did you get it to work? What launcher.dat are you using? My N3DS has Luma and A9LH installed...

Can't really help you with this, I used the old dump method with Gateway itself, instead of the Decrypt9 one. Maybe this will fix your error. If not, try to delete the 0000008f folder in the Nintendo 3DS folder.

I'm using the latest launcher.dat, I did nothing special during the leak I installed the leaked cia, after the huge ban wave where I thankfully wasn't banned I downloaded the e-shop version with FBI and imported the seed.

If you downgraded the mset like I did way back, go to Settings > Others Settings > Profile > Nintendo DS Profile > Hold L for Menu.

Is it a direct boot into Gateway? If so, try to hold L while power on your console.

I dumped my AUS pokemon sun cart with gateway menu and renamed to 3DZ, it freezes at creation of data, i'm on 9.0 sysNAND with gateway/luma with NTR to spoof firmware.

I changed to CARD2 mode, greeted with save data is corrupted message.

I too would like to know how to get the game working. You can't use gateway cheats with legit carts

- bnda.3d1

How do I merge them?

That means your 3DS SD card is formatted to fat32 which can't handle single files over 4GB. I used a PC program called "3DS Rom Sorter" which has a merging tool built in. Should be able to find it quite easily in Google
