Oh no that's not my problem.
I already got them to play in game, the problem is that they seems to be using a bad bitrate or something because they play too slow.
Although I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Wii U build only since it's still in beta, it might be.
Have you tried changing the framerate? This is in Options->General (I think, something like that) in the Doom settings. The Wii U version runs at 60fps by design when it should be 35fps, making the game run too fast. This may be affecting the music somehow?

Do your music files work fine on other ports of PrBoom (3DS etc.)?

Yeah I did change the FPS in the game's menu, setting it to 35 does make it sound a little bit faster, but it is still too slow.
I haven't tried it in other ports, I'll check that out, thanks!

This isn't really an emulator issue, it's to do with the seek times to the SD card. It will always be somewhat slow even if they improve it.

It's bad practice to have thousands of files in the same folder, but you don't need to break them up by letter. I have my MegaDrive roms in 4 folders, roughly 500mb each. Massive inprovrment is seek times without going overboard.

The rom loading issue was a problem with the original Wii port at first but it was fixed. there's no reason they cant apply that fix to the WiiU version too.

It maybe bad practice, but that's the way Iv'e always had my roms listed.

Ok, i just realized WHY i was unable to notice any kind of advancement. I was extracting the cores to the worng folder all the time, wich means that haven't updated my builds since the 3rd

Wich makes even weirder the fact that i was able to completely turn off the infamous bilineal filtering (both hw and sw)

NOW i can change the aspect ratio

I'm having some trouble with the CPS3 core. I can't get Street Fighter III 3rd Strike to work. When I select the rom, it brings me back to the menu and when I try to load the rom for a second time, I recieve a Exception code DSI error. Maybe I use a wrong rom, but I don't know which ones I need.
I'm using the latest build of Retroarch on a 5.5.1 EUR Wii U.
Can someone help me with this? I'm a bit confused.

What path were you using?

What path were you using?
wiiu/apps... Inside wiiu/apps

I mean, i downloaded the rar directly to wiiu/apps and extracted right away w/o looking where i extracted to, as a result, whats i updated was always a wiiu/apps folder inside the wiiu/apps folder

Edit: Aspect Ratio set to Core Provided. Heaven.

I've been looking for hours a way to make CPS1, 2, 3 ROMS to work. Can't find anything. WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? Thanks.

"ROMSET" that keyword helped. I just downloaded MAME roms from some site and it worked! It had CPS roms and MAME roms for those games (CPS games) but they were different. THANK YOU!

What are the latest news on this? is it ready for a release yet? :D

Not quite, still a no. of bugs (Snes9x mainline core, not the 2010 version, is still not working, Nestopia freezes as well, at least, last I checked). But it's getting there :P

@niuus Did the Snes9x mainline core boot up to the menu before? I got the core to load and when I loaded a game, it crashes. At least the core boots up now.

After Nestopia and snes are done and all other current cores are fixed up, can we expect a n64 core O:?

Yes, this has been posted once in the first few pages, more complex emulators will take a very long time to port over, please wait. It's not easy to port them.

Thanks for pointing it out. I'll be waiting eagerly for this! Hopefully other controller like gamecube will be supported by that point

Ah, no prob. Snes is already in a very good state, as is GBA/GBC, Genesis, many of the cores are working pretty darn well for being pre-alpha.

@ShadowOne333 11-16-16 build out, much bigger files size than before :P

Also WiiUbru app store's looking mighty sleek

Bigger files = Testing season.
I'll take a look at them once I am done injecting the HBL into Brain Age :)
Would be much better since dimok mentioned that Fix94 already implemented the bigger RPX commit into haxchi, so it should avoid having to rely on the browser exploit from now on.

Let's see what the new builds have in store. :D

That Haxchi hack worries me though, given that people have bricked their Wii U from it, no? And RPX in HBL, I thought that was still in beta? I know that people can inject HBL into a DS VC game (which I would be forced to by), the problem though, is that it requires RedNAND and having to boot that up each time. I think?

I mean, is there a good tutorial for Haxchi that actually makes sense?

I don't want to brick SysNAND and I don't want to set up RedNAND yet. I mean, it'd be nice to use HBL, RetroArch without kexploit, but...I just don't know.
