There's new information on the patreon page:
Graphical improvements (shadows are much better, bloom now appears), more optimizations, and bugfixes. It compares three games: Wind Waker, Mario Kart 8, and 3D World.
All three games are compared between 1.6.2 and 1.6.3, but Wind Waker is the only game compared to the Wii U itself.

nice info, thanks.

Is the plataform bug at SM3DW solved in newer CEMU versions? Seems like a floating point rounding error that is causing that.

Bloom makes a nice difference, better shadows too, still hope one day that the shader stutter will get sorted, for me thats the biggest issue

that better graphics pointed out in cemu 1.6.3 where only for those games, or every game? also, have you noticed more performance in this release?

To fix the platforms falling, I am pretty sure you need to change the cpu mode to single core interpreter. Try it and tell me what happens

Set emulateSinglePrecision to true in the gameprofile.

Ok, thanks for both replies, i will check it out :)
SM3DW on the compat wiki has the details for that.

I found this mario running on the rails. This I had never seen.

Captain Toad also needs emulateSinglePrecision=true
in the level Double Cherry Palace, there's a secondary goal to collect 70 coins, which is imposible under recompiler (only 68), without emulateSinglePrecision
