Well, are you using the correct one then? There is a NTR for each update. You should probably use the 1.5 NTR. Should be a few pages back.

Found the link but it has been replaced with the most recent one (1.6) so dunno if anyone still has the 1.5 one so I could download that one instead

So my original file was gone. I had almost everything 100%, if not everything except for a skulltula or two. So I decided homebrew and all that other stuff just to get a safe file. Found your file. And it was pretty good. I used it to just do the last DLC, the Lorule Map. And I already cleared the Lorule Map 100% without editing anything else. But oddly enough, Ravio, Agatha, and King Daphnes are all missing one heart container. They are all level 255. Everything on the Lorule Map completed. Any way to actually fix that?
By editing the heart value of a character. I will show you my notes:

Link offset begin at 0002ec00
Length of character offset = 48 (30 hex)

I know Links EXP offset is 0x2EC0A, but does anyone know the value for max EXP for level 255? Figured it out, it was D9 F5 C3 00. Ty link666

I heavily request for there to be a copy/paste feature for editing weapons. Having to put down Tier-4 5 Star Legendary Check Legendary Hasty Attack Defenseless with no KOs needed for all 40+ weapons is very tedious.

Also don't forget the new weapon skill Heart Power.

Mhm yes, you're right. Maybe add a function to save the current states (LVL, DamageBase, Skills, Kills etc) to a temporary variable, so that you can paste it to an other weapon
(or if I will get it working: Make a popup, in which you can decide which stats of the weapon you want to "copy").

But because of GUI-Changes, I will also add/change the behaviour of the Chara-Editing completly, that means you will have (in the near future) a new Menu-Structure for them:

EDIT->Charas:
-> Overview
-> Stats
-> Weapons
[-> Badges (hopefully sometime xD)]

-> Overview:
-> (only) list of chara-names, unlock-state + edit-stats buttons
-> MAX EXP/ATK/HEARTS of ALL
-> Unlock ALL

-> Stats (will be like MyFairy-Editing):
-> per Chara, arrow-navigation to switch to next character
-> edit the stats directly + maximize them (+ maybe show unlock-state again)
-> Show how many (used) Weapon-Types the character has
- with Update/DLC restirctions
- EDIT-Button to Weapon-View
-> Show how many used Weapons (in sum) the character has
- MAX Stars/LVL of ALL of them directly
- Make Legendary (to ALL Weapons)
- Make all to multi-Element ones (if you have the right DLCs and its possible)
- Unlock Skills (Set Kills to 0) for ALL

-> Weapons
-> like now (+ later the copy/paste stats-buttons)

-> Badges
-> sometime xD


New weapon skill added in the update is Heart Power and the id is 36. The correct description is "Each 5 hearts of max hearts increase damage" instead of "Increase attack power up to five hearts" in the usa version.

Thanks, if I add support 1.6.0 (but later, finish Version 3.0 at current with the fu** many changes within the Core has priority).
But I have an idea to implement also the secuity check (if you below 1.6.0, then the Skill will not be appear and set to a Free/Open Slot, logical).

I have 3 master swords. Don't worry this won't crash the game because the save file have 1300 weapon slot and you have 43 type of weapon with the master sword included. that mean that it impossible for all the weapon slot to be assigned.
example: 42*10=420+1(Master sword)=421 weapon slot used so you can add more master sword without the game crashing.

Hello all, I'm totally new to 3ds hacking so take that as a warning that I have no idea what I'm doing.

I downloaded Hyrule Warriors Legends through the 3ds store on my older style link between world's edition 3ds XL and I'm really hating Adventure Mode's you must be this high to continue over it's never ending roster of characters. So the goal is to hack my rupees (and materials) so I can just buy levels, badges, and tweak my weapons using the delete/fuse options. Are you with me so far? I hope so.

A save file editor seems to be the way to go. Now, I have no idea what "NTR" is, but at some point I considered "Homebrew" enough to learn that it requires peripherals to be installed via notepad before I realized the redundancy of my situation. If I could access my save file to back it up, then I wouldn't need an account here. Anyway, long story short I clicked on the PC Utilities and downloaded the "HWLSaveEditorGUI.zip" except it only wants to open a "zmha.bin" file that does not exist anywhere on the SD Card according to window's search and the application.

And no amount of searching for "how do you find the zmha.bin" has turned up anything, through I can find posted versions of the file. How do I get from "it's on the SD Card" to where I want to be?

You are going to have to install homebrew inorder to extract the zmha.bin file. http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ this is a link to the homebrew starter kit. Follow the directions to install homebrew and then you will be able to use the editor.

So thanks for the help again a while back, but now I got a bit of trouble. I am so new to all of this. I don't understand this. So how do you manage to understand it? How are you able to find the hexas you are looking for when it comes to weapons and items. I been meaning to do it in some other game. Just get the item I need, but its based luck. Anywho, I am so lost. Just like when it comes to giving stars and 8 slots to the weapons in Hyrule Warriors. Example, Ravio's Nice Hammer+

Only level 4 and 4+ weapon with 4 variations for each. Variation are:

1st: Legendary, Hearts +, fin. Blow +, Special +, Hasty attacks, Reg. Attack +, Sp. Attack + and Focus Spirit +
2nd: same but Hearts + is replaced with Health +
3rd: Custom power of 650 with 5 star = 975 with Hearts +, Hearts +, fin. Blow +, Special +, Hasty attacks, Reg. Attack +, Sp. Attack + and Heart Power
4th: all 8 are empty slot.

For 1 weapon type that process both level 4 and 4+ have 8 weapons. DLC weapon only have 4 weapon for each type because they don’t have level 4+ weapon.
Because i mass edit my weapon i use the editor only to find the good id attribute for a weapon, i copy paste an entire text file of my weapons to the savefile with HxD.

Because in the first page of the thread there are a pastebin made by ScarletKohaku who explain all the thing and have all weapon attribute id and weapon id. I will put you an updated vesion of the pastebin and this explanation:

Thanks for the quick reply.

A quick check, I'm running the v11.2-35 firmware since I recently accessed the store (again new to things) and it appears the recent firmware updates have been trying to shut these projects down. As such, nothing appears to work post 10.X, wikipedia suggested nijihax/freakyhax work but both only note support for 11.1 or older. Is there anything that even supports 11.3?

Well I'm currently using oothax so I know that works currently. Honestly the easiest thing for you to do would be to buy powersaves and a physical copy of hyrule warriors.

Little Update for al to my GUI-version of the editor:

Finish:
- new Structure for AdventureMode-Maps (+DLC-restrictions) (+ Max. Item-Values of all maps directly)
- new Structure for Chara-Weapons (+DLC-restrictions)
- new Structure for Main-Menu (Characters->Overview....)

ToDo:
- Finish Chara-Weapons (show Multi-Element Weapon-state + restrictions)
- Finish Chara-Overview (Show Name+Unlock-State+Edit-Buttons+Max.Stats of All + Unlock All)
- Finish new Chara-Stats (like MyFairy Menu, see my last post)

Cause I'm doing some coding everyday now I hope I finsh all till Sunday (but this will maybe only a nightly-Release, cause I will fix the Badges-Issue before I release the next stable-one)

The Update 1.6.0 + last DLC-support will coming after I released the next-stable one

I like to report more minor crash when you edit weapon. When you add some weapon, if you got to the gallery and View Warriors the game can crash due to a warrior equipped with the wrong type of weapon. This is because the game memorizes the position of the last weapon used for each character, so to fix it you just have to equip each warrior by their proper type of weapon. I found this bug when I add two other master swords because I put then in the second and third slot. I get to view a warrior in the gallery and Lana has the knight sword and CRASH to the 3ds menu.

Edit: This crash happen only if you add weapon that change the position of other weapon. With the editor that won't happen because it add weapon to an empty slot so the position of other weapon remain intact.

I never did a manual edit, only within the implementation of the weapon-edit function itself xD
Yes, the editor calculates all empty-slots and bind them (maximal 10 [inagme-slot-max], atm maybe I can edit the maximal-value again to 15, cause of better weapon-calculation the editor shouldn't crash anymore) to each weapon-type of each character.

BTW...
Finish:
- Finish Chara-Weapons (full support of Multi-Element weapons + deactivate it, if Weapon-Type has no one)
- Finish Chara-Overview (Show Name+Unlock-State+Edit-Buttons+Max.Stats of All + Unlock All)

ToDo:
- Finish Chara-Overview (functionating EDIT-Buttons, but thats no big deal)
- Finish new Chara-Stats (the hole new Design + functions)

It's near to a new nightly-version to support till update 1.5.0 + DLC, hopefully Sunday/Monday.
So many work within the GUI, it sucks xD
