Is there a way to keep the grass revived forever? The Revive button only works for the day... Thanks again for the great editor, and so fast too!

I notice only one problem I'm having now. Before the update, I had trees around the edge of my town by the tracks, and now after the update and new changes to the editor, I notice they dissapear. When I put them back, they're there when I load up the game, but as soon as I save and quit and come back, they're gone. Any idea why?

Edit: another thing I noticed, after you move a custom design sign with the editor and go in game to change the design, they'll all be the same.

Have you tried to inject an old villager into RV by any chance?

Now you have me curious about this.

I'm going to try this right now. Just gonna pick up my side town because if it crashes, nothing of value is lost


EDIT: Using the RV feature to bring in Ruby the peppy rabbit gives me a black RV with contents similar to Dobie's. I'll check Dobie to see if the content is identical, but it doesn't crash the game.

There are two items I don't know if Dobie has, so I'm going to compare right now (and check Dobie's personality)


There is no bottom text to present Ruby, and she retains her peppy personality.


EDIT : Ruby's RV is exactly the same as Dobie's.

question: if i put the clothes display things(manniquins) in the game but already got all 4, will it take the 4 i already have or no? also does the "unlock all Pwp" cheat work now or is it still not working/corrupted?

I've never tried it myself but I've read it is best to avoid ever having more than 4 mannequins in your house or it might cause some problems.

Do you have to go INTO the campsite to see the Caravan section of the editor? I had Tim & Tom go in, didn't go in, and didn't see them in the editor.

You need a villager, such as Cece, Viché, W. Link, Epona, Ganon, Medli, Inkwell or any of the cards to activate the modifier

It's okay as long as you don't put two of the same manniquins in one room

I've never tried it myself but I've read it is best to avoid ever having more than 4 mannequins in your house or it might cause some problems.

Max PWP no longer crashes. Works fine!

so your saying if i set them in a completely different room besides the one the original set are in, everything will be okay? (one thing i'll never understand: why mask items like majora's mask or oni masks are helmets but jester mask is an accessory..shouldn't all the other mask type items that do not cover your head but only cover your face count as an accessory like the jester mask does? it would make more sense really..)

Go ahead and open it in the save editor! It should work.

I'm having this issue, and this isn't the first time I've had it. So I import my save after I edited it but the thing is...not all my edits appear in game. They appear in the editor if i reinsert my sd card and open up the file, which is odd. And it's the same edits too, even though I tried doing them twice.

I think it may have to do with either a glitch with the editor itsself or the fact that I have to rename the file from garden_plus(4).dat to garden_plus.dat. I tried to import my file two times in a row with save manager but that didn't help. Anyone else have this issue?

This was mentioned before but there seems to be a problem with the cedar item as it is disappearing when touching the train tracks or edge. I hope this is fixed soon

Hey all, not sure if there was a fix for this (been fowlloing this thread for about a year now... thanks Marc, you're awesome!):
My friend is running menuhax/homebrew on an o3dsxl. It worked fine before the animal crossing update, homebrew anyway, and now it keeps booting to the homebrew menu when we try to inject the save file. Everything else works great. I've tried deleted the garden.dat file, but it still keeps booting out before there's a chance to inject the file. Any help would be great, thanks!
