There seems to be some confusion with the personalities, in the editor Julia, Raddle, Ursala and Plucky appear as peppy, jock, snooty and peppy but in-game they're snooty, lazy, uchi and uchi when you talk to them

In the official dream town (0000-000F-4241) Julia is definitely snooty and Ursala is uchi.

My top room is broken.
I tried manually removing furniture and now my game is acting like the furniture is still there, as in I can't place anything where the furniture once was.
Any ideas on how to fix it?

EDIT: Nevermind, found there was tiles that had something else on them which said (EMPTY SPACE), changed that and it's all good.

That won't help.
The RAM tutorial is outdated now.
The savegame has changed the offset and header, so the old dumper/injector won't work.
And also, you need to be on 11.x to make the game update work, so that means you have lost the spider exploit (unless you have CFW, but in that case, you can use JKSV, which is a lot better than the RAM method).

Basically, the RAM method is dead.

I tried adding the polka dot wall via the editor but in game the item was titled "??" and was a completely different wallpaper.

I was actually looking through all of the items earlier today and this is the only one that doesnt seem to be working properly. Hope it helps!

I've updated the item list and added a few polka-dot walls with different numbers. Try to inject all of them and tell me which one worked correctly.

I like to ask, is there possibility of dumping the nintendo dream town to be use as your own save file? how do we go about doing it?

Yes, it's possible. Just dump the RAM with NTR.
If you don't have access to NTR, it would only possible with an old 3DS or 2DS with CFW and downgraded web browser. But if you've got that, then you have access to NTR, lol
the one with the "2" at the end worked :)
Checking last items from every category would be very helpful :-) I had already checked all of them, but looks that there may be a few incorrect still.

I checked every single one of the new items with the exception of Villager/NPC Pictures (which I plan on doing soon)
The only other weird thing I noticed was that certain Sanrio items were listed twice.

Hello Kitty clock
Kiki and Lala clock
My Melody clock
Pompompurin TV

But both copies seem to work properly. I also noticed that they're listed twice on the pastebin list of new items so maybe this is on purpose? Both copies of the item seemed identical to me.

Seems to be a WIP at the time being. It's probably going to be used to track or modify who is in your caravan section.
Indeed, you can already edit the caravan if you've scanned an amiibo ;-)

Do not waste your time with villager pics, then. I checked that one very carefully, because there are lots of offsets jumps there.
Thank you! :-)

ok, i'm in the dreamtown, i hold x+y to get into ntr's menu. So how would i dump the ram using ntr? Do i go into "process manager"? and what do i do with the ram that I dumped?

I used the 'fill encyclopedia' feature and the penultimate spot in the central row of the marine creatures remained blank

EDIT: looks like it's the octopus

I can confirm villager pics are all working well, because I loaded them all to check the villager's birthdays and everything is peachy :D

People used old game information to check what were the personalities, so yeah, it is possible mistakes were made, and I can confirm that Julia is indeed Snooty and Ursala Uchi (and Tad remained as a Jock, so he doesn't need to be changed)

gj on Raddle and Plucky, though, I didn't manage to find these two in Dream Towns. Thumbs up to you, friend!

Seems like the RV campgrounds ARE retaining the right villager personalities (Julia is acting like a snooty and not like a peppy), so tonight, I might go ahead and make a updated personality list.

Therefore, Ketchup confirmed for being peppy still

Have you tried to inject an old villager into RV by any chance?

Hi~
I tried my best to read most of the new messages since the update on Animal Crosing : New Leaf came out.... but yeah...there's too much... ._.
I used the ACNL Save Editor with the RAM method (I really don't understand how to use the homebrew method ... well I'm french I understand english but when it comes to specific subject like... the homebrew stuff... I'm a fool... ._.) so yeah... uhm... I have an old 3DS at 9.5.0, a 2DS at 11.1.0 and a New 3DS at 11.2.0 and I wanted to know how to edit the game now? Which method do I have to use? Is it still the ACNL Save Editor? 'cause I'm a little bit lost with all these messages... ^-^'
Thank you for your help~

It is still the acnl save editor that you have to use. However i think it was said that it wasn't going to support ram editing.

Is there any way that I can inject an old garden.dat backup into a game that has already been updated? Or, does anyone know if I could overwrite an updated New Leaf cartridge with a pre-updated Powersaves backup without causing any kind issues?
