I'm waiting for taiHENkaku to leave beta before updating to 3.60.
Before doing this, I would like to understand what new possibilities taiHENkaku opens for the developers to improve their already-existing programs, like RetroArch and MaiDumpTool. And what new possibilities are open now that were closed with HENkaku?

Thank you :)

If you're familiar at all with the PSP scene, taiHenkaku gives the same access as plugins did.

While we do have plugins now for game dumps, this would basically give us the ability to use those plugins system-wise. So cheats would work with official games, we could overclock hardware in official games (and maybe homebrew, if it doesn't have access to full speeds), add additional settings etc.
