It's still too unstable to do stuff like that, if your on the new ACNL WA update.

So I haven't updated my game just so I could use this editor, but it seems like this editor is actually meant to be editing an updated game now? At least, that's what a few of the messages seem to imply... Is it still safe to edit un-updated games, or...?

What is safe to do, and what not? I'm not interested in stuff like change the map or similiar. I just like to have some villagers i like and money.

It's difficult to say...
But if you get an error after saving the data on the ram editor, then it might be a clue that you have gone too far.
I guess we should be patient and wait for the mods to update/fix it.

Tip: I don't know if any of you still are, but if you are still on 11.1 without CFW, you can bypass the PASLR and bypass the Internet thing with ctr-httpwn.

what is "PASLR"?

it is some type of memory randomization (which of course randomizes memory) which can cause save data modifiers to stop working. Of course on CFW, this can easily be disabled, so save data editors still work on CFW 3DS.

I might be wrong, so someone correct me if I am

Quick question: is the save editor still safe to use on regular garden.dat files for those of us who didn't update to Welcome Amiibo yet?

i have 2 ds with homebrew my 3ds that is up to the date with the last firmware and my 2ds thats still on 11.0 firmware. with what you said, does that mean illhave to use the 2ds on 11.0 firmware to be able to restore my town?

If you don't have CFW on the 11.2 3DS, then yes.

Tried editing and importing and exporting save files, I have no issues so far. I use JKSM.cia also I edited the garden_plus.

EDIT: I'm running on LUMA3DS, by the way.

I see. I own an additional O3DS with Luma, and my town is on a cartridge, so I suppose I will be fine, but that is less good news for my sister which has her main town on a digital title on her N3DS. will the PASLR ever be bypassed?

Yup. Pre-update ACNL works, but if you have Post update, you have to have CFW or something that can block PASLR..

The new update is very good, i was able to remove some unwanted villagers (creepy yellow smile elephant). Only problem is after the opening the game try to load the save file and...back to the main menu of the console. I was able to restore the file, thank god i make backup evrytime i do this thing. Im not sure what cause the problem.

If you're on ACNL:WA, are you running CFW? (Or, ctr-httpwn on 11.1 apparently)
