Hacking OTP2SD by dimok

This is a homebrew that dumps the console's OTP into a file on the sdcard. I randomly found this here: http://www.wiiubru.com/appstore/
Since the last edit was on 2016-11-03 23:38:40, I guess this came out just a few hours ago.

I don't think this has any use to non-devs as of right now, but it's still nice to have it dumped already.

I dunno what the success rate is, but I ran it once and got a valid otp dump.

I think it's just the "incomplete" (because some keys are locked by the bootrom?!)

What incomplete read?
I ran this and got a 1:1 match otp.bin in my SD root with the one I copied hex by hex from the previous one, so I say it's legit.
I even ran MD5 sum and it matched too.

to add to that newest builds of the iosuhax stuff will read from a otp.bin located one below the folder with make

I'm sorry. I could have sworn I read somewhere that the previous OTP app only provides a portion of the keys and what not, as other parts are still locked down tight.

yes thats true and it would probably be a while if ever that we got those

The portions which are locked down are the boot0/1 keys, those are still not known at the moment.

Anyway if you guys also want to have everything dumped on your console than you should also dump the seeprom. I added a dumper for it a few days ago. I am just too lazy to create new threads on gbatemp.
