Hacking I want to hack my N3DS and I need serious help. I have cfw o3DS.

I've never felt more confused in my life but I think its because I have a o3DS with cfw done a really screwy out of date way?
I'm currently running an EmuNand with my SysNand at 9.2
My Goal is to install CFW on my N3ds with the NNID from the EmuNand installed on the N3DS.

I am using https://plailect.github.io/Guide/dsiware-downgrade to downgrade the N3ds to 10.4.0 but am really stumbling because my DS is so out of date with everything. I have NO IDEA what is on my console besides RXtools. I tried upgrading to Luma the other day but couldnt figure out how to boot the homebrew launcher without RXtools. (is there cia or something i can install to use it with Luma? Google has been no help)

I'm trying to prep and getting stuck. Under part 1 it says to use Hourglass9 to make a backup of the sysnand. I don't know what that is/I don't have that. What do I do? Google again is unhelpful by saying i have it if i have cfw... when I don't.

Part 2 says to use "FBI" to install the Fieldrunner save data onto the sysnand... but again I dont know what that is or what its asking me to do.

Part 6 is talking about restoring the SysNand... but i'm worried about getting my EmuNana NNID to the new console. Not the SysNand.

That was not helpful at all. I'm posting cause I need assistance figuring out how to do these things. These are things I havnt had to do before.
1. Copy my SysNand
2. Install the Fieldrunner save for DSi hack

You might need to put a9lh on your old 3ds in order to do the dsi downgrade to your new 3ds,but I'm not shure.Did you check to see if there is a 3dsx version of hourglass 9 for the homebrewlauncher because most people use it on a9lh

There are plenty of guides to rxTools-arm9lh and Decryp9 and Hourglass9 are standard tool from which you have 0 knowedge, thats why I said you need a very long read before trying anything.

Okay so is it safe to follow guides replacing SysNand with EmuNand? Again I basically want my o3DS EmuNand to be my N3DS SysNand.

Also When i run Decrypt9 from the homebrew Launcher it just resets the console.
THIS is why i need help. My DS appears to be hacked but nothing works and I have no Idea why.

Yes you can transfer your emunand to the other systems sysnand AFTER installing a9lh. What you need to do is download the newest fbi andbuy a legit copy of fieldrunners on your emunand. From there you will just replace the save of fieldrunners using the new fbi app.

The Homebrew launcher just lauches RXtools (boot.3dsx) and not the actual homebrew launcher. How do i fix this. RXtools crashes 75% of the time and its making it hard to get anything done.

Pretend your O3DS has no CFW. Start right from the beginning of the guide and do everything on sysNAND. If you're using menuhax to boot into CFW you may have to hold a button on boot to get into sysNAND and then change your theme so you delete menuhax.
If you don't remember what button, then replace boot.3dsx with the original homebrew launcher one (download from smealum's site), so it will auto-boot to the homebrew launcher instead of your CFW. Then, go into menuhax installer and configure it so you'll know how to get into sysNAND.
Once in sysNAND, change theme to uninstall menuhax and start the guide from the beginning

In fact after you've worked out how to get into sysNAND, delete everything off your SD card (with the exception of your Nintendo 3DS folder which contains all your games and saves - actually make a backup of that on your computer) so it doesn't get in the way and distract you.
Also if you are worried about losing your data don't be - near the end you will flash your emuNAND over your sysNAND and when you put the Nintendo 3DS folder back all your stuff will be there exactly like it is now in emuNAND.

Sorry; I feel for you. I was going to tell you to use reboot.ms, a site that launches CFW, to see if you could get into Emu, to see if you could access any files. On a good note, maybe you could hardmod? But I think it would be worthwhile to hardmod your N3ds...or maybe not?

Don't physically break it, maybe you could sell the parts and get close to buying a 2ds on a low FW?

I don't know what happened but it wouldnt turn on. I called nintendo telling them it froze during an update and they said to hold LR UP A or something when turning it on and it worked. Little do they know I didnt go through with the update and have CFW now. Thanks.

IIRC, accessing Safe Mode update and selecting Cancel clears any cached updates. That's probably what fixed it. (Assuming there was a cached update that interfered with something...)
