Desmume doesn't have dynarec for ARM hardware, so that won't happen.

Dynarec is platform-specific. The Vita uses ARM, so there needs to be a dynarec specifically for the ARM platform. The DS is actually ARM anyway, but presumably the instructions aren't all natively compatible.

For some reason, Vita shell 1.41 will not allow me to install retroarch.vpk. It transfers fine, but whenever i click to install it on my vita, it stays at zero percent. Does anyone have a solution?
It just takes a long time to install, just wait and it will start

Anyone know the steps to make a button rapid fire (AKA turbo)?

Load game and open up menu. Dont go into quick menu. From main retroarch menu press right and see list driver/video/audio/input etc.
Select input and go down to "Input user 1 binds"
Go all the way down again to "user 1 turbo enable" and select. It will say to press the button you want with turbo (5 sec timeout)
Repeat for all buttons you want with turbo.
Go back to game.

Dont forget to clear it when you are done. highlight "user 1 turbo enable" and press start button to clear

After trying multiple configurations on multiple builds, I've just concluded that Bloody Roar 2 runs like shit.

Also, does anyone know the correct format for SNES roms? Mine are .smc and they're crashing all the SNES cores.

Well mine are .SFCs so maybe that has anything to do with it I haven't seen a .smc

Didn't they say that the individual cores would not be receiving updates and that the AiO is going to be the focus going forward or did I misinterpret something?

no u might be correct ... but for now this works ... i think there's a bug in vitashell 14.1 ... people have had issues installing VPK'S .. i know my offline installer has stopped working since that update ...

I've just had problems transfering via ftp using v1.4. Also tagging multiple files for copy and paste is a suspect.

this works for me

http://www.mediafire.com/file/nxdq3gxhpqbpz34/Pack+Customizados+Emuladores+PsVita.exe

the AIO has been bad news.. most people don't use it...

first off don't just post random exe files on here because that to me just based on the names makes me worry about it containing a virus...and AIO is bad news? are you high? it works EXACTLY the same as the separate cores it even has a auto select core option so you even save time using it compared to having to select each individual app for which emulator you want...i bet your problem is that you didn't bother to read and trying to use the separate cores along with AIO which causes a conflict

I've found the AIO version is slower than the seperate cores . Just try out the PSX cores on both. It seems to stutter on the AIO. I've now reverted back to single cores.

Don't mind him, he gets all rude, insulting and defensive in all of his posts. Even if the point he's making is correct, it gets lost because he's so busy abusing other members.

and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
