How can a sound get pixelated? Pixel refers to something visible, sounds, well... aren't.
Distorted, if anything.

on o3ds in general it's best to install GBA cia because emulation for GBA is bad

you need to install them on sysnand and emunand,won't work on gateway and on rxtools you'll need to patch agb firm

for best results I'd go with luma
what cfw are you using?

I just ran across one of your other threads it seems you're using Gateway and a very old entry point unless you update your entry point and get off Gateway you won't be able to play Gameboy Advance games at all no matter what you do

if you don't want to install a9lh you can always update to 9.2 and use menuhax+luma and you could also switch back and forth from luma and Gateway there are tutorials to update to 9.2

yes it's been that way for a long time maybe someday eventually it'll be fixed but I wouldn't count on it too much sorry I couldn't help you any further
