I've had it since yesterday, mainly for testing signature checking and the like. Dumping the NAND is hell, and sometimes redNAND fails to boot.
Oh snap. Okay, so it works? Well, i will wait a day or two before i get impatient and do it myself.

The problem is not to have more possibilities, it's people being narrowminded thinking that this or this is better than this because it is (to jump on the comparison with A9hl and menuhax).
Having plural teams is better, it motivate teams to do their best, i stay behind my menuhax + gateway but i kow how convinient A9 is for some and i respect that, and im also curious and try other method just for fun, teams are not the problem, its the peoples, the fanatics and the impatient people mostly... it's sad to see in a community like that, about hacks ect, to be unpatient, because it's the number one thing to have IMO.

Beside that, i will probably try rednand on halloween to give it a try, and i will try SALT work also, because why not ?

My quick comment to it all is that a) I agree 100% with OP and b) to all the people complaining about wanting open source, all of this code is publicly available already. It's been worked on PUBLICLY mainly in the wiiubru irc and forums. If you want to jump on and check it out great! It not bad to have more people working on it, as it should be with this type of project. However, GBAtemp isn't a place where developers roam, and is littered with a lot more people who don't understand what their are actually doing and can risk a brick. If you don't know how to read and write code then please, grab the code that has been put out there and read through it, do what you can to learn and contribute. I can promise you, outside of this little hackers world learning to code is extremely useful, and these little side projects can look really good to future employers. ;) f you're willing to learn come say hi and learn with us! I'd be happy to share what knowledge I have, and everyone who knows much more than me are also super nice and helpful as long as you're willing to put in your share of work as well.

Anyways little rant over, but TL;DR everything from wiiubru is public, come learn, help us, and we'll help you!

i agree with you but still the approach from wiiu forum team is pretty cool ; even if it is someone else unstable code ; realeasing every bit of code for people like me that are interested while lacking time and some knowledge is pretty cool. This off the record approach from hykem , salt , ... is their right but from my point of view sucks and look like a permanent e-dick contest.

not trying to encourage people to use iosuhax as i've made it pretty clear that it wasn't made for end users, but it would be nice if people would stop calling it a bad implementation or a hackjob. it's not, it is litterally perfectly reliable if you know what you're doing, the only problem is that you don't. which is fine, but maybe don't shit on other people's work.

Entitled people are really becoming a pest recently. Without your work, we wouldn't have anything - so please ignore the idiots and know there's a lot of people who think your work is awesome!

You put it on the internet, don't expect people to not go ape shit over it. But also, I admire your work. :)

Well said! I also wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the a9lh 3ds presentation!

What is your opinion of the Wii U ticket editing going on in terms of editing tickets themselves, the consoles handling of it and also what and how it affects the nand?
