Hacking USB Loader GX wont detect my external hardrive

First, I did not the who setup of USB Loader GX. So my brother had a coworker that did this and installed many games, some I have and some I don't have. So after a while of not usin the wii I decided to play some games but I keep getting the "USB Device not found. Switching to channel list mode. How can I fix this?
