Hello Guys.

So, recently, some brasilians discovered a way to install some games directly to a HDD connected to the WiiU. I really wan't to try it, but I only have one HDD and is one that I'm using to USB Loader GX on my Wii ( I don't have any of the games that can hack the vWii, so I use the first Wii). Is there any way that I can use that HDD with USB Loader GX and as a HDD to the WiiU filesystem?

I tried to search for this answer, but I didn't found any enlightening answer.

Thanks in advance.

No, unfortunately it's not possible. The Wii U completely formats the HDD in order to make it work. You can't also partition into 2 separate parts either.

What about UStealth I saw this program but it never gets mentioned! That program hides a drive so it doesn't get the nag to format and any program that can read a hidden drive can load from it
The OP wants to use thier usb for both wii u and vwii which won't work with ustealh as it hides it from wii u mode.

You can install WiiU games to internal memory (if you have enough space) and don't need a WiiU USB HDD.

But to reply to your question, there's no way to share the drive with WiiU and vWii. You can't make any partitions.
If you format the drive for wiiU, you will lose all your data on it.

I know, but the space is relatively Low.
