Sooo, is there a build out there which has pretty much all the goodness there is available up to now? Like, a 64bit build with the JIT recompiler, input, shaders 'n stuff, fast and all?
I feel like I always read about builds that try out something specific but I'm looking for an as-good-as-it-gets-build

You just download the build and execute it, that's all there is to it. Keep in mind that the emulator isn't not even near to be perfect yet so the big majority of the 3DS Games just aren't working or working as they should yet.



1) Yeah, wait for optimization and/or a better video renderer, or simply buy a new PC.
2) No, X/Y aren't playable yet. Drwhojan supposedly fixed the crashes they had but the freezing when the player pickup an item was still there, or something along those lines.

But drwhojan said he couldnt give the nand and sysdat, we should come up with our own.

You have to dump the home folder from your 3ds: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/wiki/Home-Folder

U will need access to homebrew launcher to do this

So if i dont have a real 3ds i cant use drwhojan builds?

you can. In chinese builds already contain home folder. BTW home folder also you can find in google.

Hm, is there no way to completely disable the 3D effect? (Trying Mario Kart 7) Even if I put the Anaglyph Slider all the way down I still have a 3D effect (not in the races, but on the title screen).

Emulation and uncheck stereoscopic option or just basically exit the option.

That's what I said: When I put it all the way down, the title screen (maybe all 2D screens?) is still heavily in 3D.

Sorry guys, I must be blind or something... I don't see any place to untick it... there's only that "Stereoscopic Controller" entry, when I click it, there's that little box with "left eye only", "right eye only" and "anaglyph". And on the left there's a slider and when I turn it all the way down I don't get 3D effect in 3D graphics (like in a race) but I do get it on the title screen.

Dunno if I'm the only one, but your build weirdly crashes on my PC whenever I try to change the Controls on my own.
For example, after I click on the button for the Left Directional Pad, the emulator crashes after a 2 or 3 seconds pause.
Also, something that didn't happened before is that when clicking on Emulation > Configure, there's another weird 2-3 seconds pause before the window opens.

I compiled that older build that worked, now it doing the same as the new build, so not the source files

EDIT: omg it was just the SDL2.dll , replace it with the other older one from older build and keys worked
