Hacking app password

is it possible to have a password for every app you want? it would be very useful as i have 3 ps vitas running henkaku and would like to give one to my 7yo nefew but would like to lock settings since he probly wont understand and maybe accidently update so i was wondering if there was such hombrew

You can hide system update with Settings+, the original settings app is still there but i THINK you can hide it by modyfing the app.db

possible i guess to use parental controls, and edit the parental control level in the sfo files for the apps you want.

i guess like this, you could lock out anything :D

maybe you need to rebuild database after the sfo edits though, no big problem.

-- although if you want to be hardcore, you could use vitarw and delete/more/rename the settings app so it doesn't show. i did something similar on 3ds :)

actually!! just edit the app.db and move the settings app screen position to a 'bad' position, so it won't display... like, make it show on page 90, for example.

there are quite a few options you have :)

yeah looking for a simple way to do this lol dont want to make settings disapear completly either ☺ thats why i was hoping for a password system,you know keep it simple

ok, but changing the number in the sfo is simple enough!
you can even do it on the vita with vitashell, no extra programs or computer
