I too have the same problem of the boys who have posted below.
After finally managing to start the Homebrew Launcher, insert the JK Save Manager tool in Sd, but doesn't work. Just go down with the stylus or your finger, and I select the JKSM, I'm not select the game (NO), even Freakyforms (from which I have used the exploit to gain access).
Do you have tips, so that it can import / export file with another tool, to use pkhex ..?
Help me, please ..

Hi,

I just installed this save manager earlier, and I was wondering, how would I be able to import a sav.dat file for a VC Game Boy/Game Boy Color game that is different than one I would have exported?

I'm asking because I exported a new save from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages to my computer, in order to use that save on an emulator like VBA, and in VBA I used this GameShark code that gives you all 64 rings in the game, then saved the game and re-loaded my save on the computer (I still had all the rings) before exporting it as a newer version of the sav.dat file. So anyway, I'm just wondering where I went wrong here with trying to import my updated save from the computer back to the 3DS?

If someone can help me here, that would be much appreciated, thanks.

If this is for ORAS that will not work on 11.1 until Smealum releases a new update to the homebrew launcher.

To start with, rather than doing that, it would be advisable you use this: https://github.com/kabili207/zora-sharp/releases which allows you to decode your game's passwords to create your own passwords to import rings though the regular in-game method.

As for the issue described, I'd guess the problem is with file size of the save created by VBA. Try exporting a save from the 3DS, noting the file size, and having VBA export that size instead. There might be other considerations I don't remember regarding format, though.

So, I have some sort of good news for those with Pokemon problems because of the ASLR. There might be a way around it. The catch is, you have to have Pokebank.
Oooh, is this kind of like what TWLSavetool does? Different process that also has access to the archive but no ASLR?

Thanks, but even though I have used that program before, for a change I want to see if I can get all the rings into a non-linked game that doesn't have a Triforce symbol (I did use this program with both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons the first time on my 3DS), hence why I've been trying to figure out where I went wrong in sending a modified, newer save back to the 3DS. But, I will say that I noticed the sav.dat file is the exact same size as the .sav file I can make in VBA. I guess deleting the secure value is the way to go here for sure, right? Hopefully my inability to overwrite my old save on the 3DS with a modified save has nothing to do with VBA.

Edit: Nevermind, I finally figured out a way to copy a save from VBA to my 3DS.

Sorry, I don't follow you. There is a way to start any tool, to import / export the saves to use the pkhex ..?!?

Thank you very much in advance for your kind availability.

OK dear.
We trust in you to run JK Save manager on OrAs.
Well, it'd be ready if I could figure out why the cart menu keeps freezing the 3dsx. It already works for digital versions.

Edit: I think I've got it. Replace your 3DSX with the attached one. Target Pokemon Bank and it should boot into the same menu that CFW users have. You will only be able to open X, Y, AS, and OR like this. Digital versions will show up in SD/CIA. I'll pop in once and a while to check for issues.

Hi, JK_.
I replaced the JKSM.3dsx file with the one you attached you, but don't work.
I would explain, in detail please, how to start it? I should have the application on the Nintendo PokeBank?
Excuse me questions, but I would understand ..

Yes, you need Pokémon Bank. When the homebrew loader asks you to select a target title, select bank. You will then be able to use the CIA menu for Pokémon X, Y, AS, and OR.

Maybe someone can confirm, but I don't think you need to pay to just download bank. So, I think everyone who needs it should be able to get it without paying, but I could be wrong.
