if anyone remembers back when the smartphones first got popular there was this cheaper os bundled with older phones to make them seem like smartphones it was called brewmp this os seems very open source
if we were able to team up and work at this we might be able to crack this os and install custom emulators/apps
<not a accurate picture but it is similar
After looking for a while i think i found the official sdk for this os: https://developer.brewmp.com/home it might be unsafe but it might be a decent start

If anyone has some decent coding/scripting/porting skills please tell me

Why? All of 10 grandmas use this phone. Get a cheap samsung or iphone to play games on not a blackberry.

you guys are not getting the point these phones sell for 15 or less and if we could mod it it could be a easy and cost effective emulation machine

Or you could just buy a new phone.
I bought a brand new LG phone for 30$ and it works amazingly well actually.
its also a proof of concept if we could do this

Android phones are a dime a dozen. There's really no need to drag up a phone from 2011 for emulation, when you can find cheaper and up to date phones for only a few dollars more.

i guess it just seems to be a plausible alternative
There's really no reason for it though. Like why spend 15$ on a old phone when I can spend the same amount of money on a brand new phone and get emulators to work it without hassle? And even for emulation, you would still be really limited.
Even possible, it's just not worth it because there's really no payoff for it.

you can get some old moto phones for dirt cheap and theyll run a ds emulator at like 15 FPS, and everything pre-n64 at max framerate. pay more like $20 and you can probably overclock and be able to emulate n64 just fine.
