I know you @Sammi Husky said you were going to wait until you finished sm4shcommand before you fixed dtls.exe, but now that smashcommand is nearly done, do you think you might have time to work on dtls? Im asking, because I believe this will allow people to start modding if they only have access to HANs.

For some reason, I cannot find where to open up the events list of the newest nightly build of sm4shcommand? Is this fixable or do you know this, Sammi?

Okay, I am having a problem with sm4shcommand Nightly Build. It seems that when I paste a new script for an attack and I press the red ''x'' to save it, it does not save it enterily. Here is an example: I want to declone Lucina, here is the script for Lucina's Fair named AttackairF

Here is the miiswordman AttackairF that I pasted in Lucina's AttackairF. Then I press the red ''x'' to save it.

When I reopen Lucina's AttackairF, here is what appears in place of Miiswordman full script. I don't understand why it happens. Only the first few lines get saved. It happens not matter what input I paste in. I tried pasting Lucina's AttackairN in the Fair, and the same problem appears.

What am I doing wrong? Halp.

EDIT: I did some testing by just open an attack file like attackairF, going to the ''game'' window, and closing it. Then opening the same AttackairF, going to the ''game'' window and the script misses some parts even if I did not touch it. Weird, anyways, anyhelp would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bug in my compiler. I'll push out a fix for it as soon as i can.

Two things. I was gonna tell you that her Dmg shouldn't have a comma in it, that's why it's two colors. It should be something like 9.5, not 9,5,.
Also, you can copypaste in that version??? Can you view events also? If so, where'd you download that one??

The last stable ver was able to copy paste, in addition to a whole host of other things. The one he is using is likely the nightly version which was rewritten mostly from the ground up. It also supports opening and editing MSC script and Params.

Nightly builds can be found under he releases tab on the github page or in the OP from the nightly dl link

Greetings, I am using the version of the nightly build available here https://github.com/Sammi-Husky/Sm4sh-Tools/releases/tag/SM4SHCommand_Nightly
I also have the stable I downloaded here https://github.com/Sammi-Husky/Sm4sh-Tools/releases/tag/ACMD_v1.2.5
I just downloaded what I found in the links in the first post of this thread. In the stable build I downloaded, cannot copy/paste, which is weird considering the fact that I can see people copy pasting in the turial video. When I click to highligh text in the script with this stable version, my mouse just hover the vertical line over the text without highlighting the text. I can write, delete, but not copy or paste.

As for the coma instead of the dot, I do not know what to say. I screen you see are what appear on my computer, they all appear with '',''. I can copy/paste in the nightly build, but as of now it does not help since the text disappear.
I have read that the file need not be bigger than the original one, but even if I delete some attack script, the disappearing problem persist.

I just downloaded the stable build on your opening post, and I cannot copy paste on it, nor can I drag to select text. I can, however, see events. Is this supposed to be?

Thanks for the links and confirmation! And oh I see. So it could be bugged. Hmm..

It may have been the beta that was able to copy/paste. In any case, is there any reason you can't use the latest nightly builds? In general they're pretty stable since i've been updating them to fix issues.

Unfortunately the problem with commas is an issue with Locale's using comma as a digit separator. I currently don't have any workaround for it, but i will probably have a fix available at some point in the near future. For now, there isn't really anything i can do to help :/ Sorry about that.

Speaking of copy/paste, I have a pretty large portion of code I don't want to rewrite, and when trying to copy then paste it over the move, it seems fine. But closing then opening the move again will show "Empty List".

EDIT: I should mention I tried with the version I had downloaded already, along with the latest nightly and latest stable builds.

If the move was already an empty list, there isn't currently a way to add new commands to an empty list. That's something im gonna fix really soon, by the end of this week probably

Aha, i see what's wrong. The first command, Set_Frame_Duration(1.14), should be Set_Frame_Duration(Speed=1.14).

In the latest versions, the keyword is important. In the future i intend to remove that as a requirement.

I actually can't believe I missed that ;-; And I used to do turbo stuff too... lol
Anyway, thanks for your help here!

Another thing, is there any news on msc?

No problem! As far as MSC goes, i'm still working on getting it decompiled into a higher form. Aside from it bein really really hard to understand, MSC is editable in SM4SHCommand right now actually.

Recently i've been focusing my efforts on a plaintext source code compiler and decompiler for ACMD. It should allow people to use any IDE or text editor they like to edit movesets. It's fairly stable right now actually, and it's source code is on the github. This will allow people to collaborate and share code for projects on github for ease of collaboration, diffing, etc. Then just run the compilation when ready to ship.

Before i release the compiler in binary form i still have a few things to do to it. TS4M pointed out that it would be nice if, given an optional paramter for params, it could decompile and compile the param files too. So i need to do that. And then i can get back to work on getting MSC decompiled down into a user-friendly syntax.

I did take a look at it in Sm4shCommand earlier actually, and as you said, I could see it isn't very user friendly at the moment.

Also, using a text editor sounds like a great way to encourage people to edit movesets with what they already have around, nice work!

While this solved my problem closing and opening the move, it didn't seem to save properly. I opened the file again and a normal fair was there.

EDIT: even tried "save as..." but still no dice.

Did you try saving it as a different file? What version of the tool do you have? If all else fails, i would try just redownloading the nightly as you may have an earlier version
