Either A) You messed up something somewhere by accident or B) You got extremely unlucky and bricked when trying to flash the update to sysnand. It does happen on very rare occasions. I'm sorry to hear things did not go well for you.

i used the files that were provided in the links. step 10 doesn't say press "B" to go back and then unmount the sd card. I tried to press select on the go back menu trying to follow the steps carefully.... thats where i messed up. pressed b and seen the actual press select to unmount finally.... then I just tried to hit unmount on decrypt9 and then mounted the sd card again after i copied the files back on step 13 like a retard..... guess you live and learn tho

but what ones exactly? like 9.2.0-20U(Full), or 9.2.0-20U(Full)_n3DS for example.
I've always thought that those update packs were named in a confusing manner for beginners. "n3ds", for most people not versed in 3ds hacking, means, "Nintendo 3ds".

They should be titled, "9.2.0-20U(Full)_OLD3DS" and "9.2.0-20U(Full)_NEW3DS" to be more explicit.

Not griping at you of course, it's just a little mini rant at the scene in general. I don't know who named those packs.

the update guides say "New 3DS 9.2.0 - EUR" and "Old 3DS or 2DS 9.2.0 - EUR". but the New3DS files were just removed from it.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
