No it does not matter it's ignorance to only use stable releases as one example Luma3DS v5.5 has a bug saying u need to update when your already on latest fw
it does matter, stable releases typically contain less bugs than nightlies. it doesn't mean bugs are nonexistent, but usually most of the known ones are fixed by a stable release.

probably doesn't matter to you, but it does to someone else.

also, that bug was in 5.4 and fixed in 5.5.

When i load the decrypt9, I get these messaeges about different keys are "Automatically setup" And some that failed to load. Do i need to get those keys or is this not important?

Also since i can dump and decrypy or even convert to cia, i don't need xorpads anymore, unless there still some use for it, can i delete them?

Also there is a BOSS file decryptor, this is the first i heard of that kind of thing since having CFW, I probably don't need to concern with it but curious to know what it is, or why is it called BOSS lol.

You probably don't need the keys, but it is a good idea to have them on your sd (google ctr aes keys, there should be a google doc on there with a list of them, and just add the missing ones to wherever you have your other keys). Xorpads are now basically useless unless you have some 3ds files floating around for some reason, so go ahead and delete them. iirc, BOSS is what handles either spotpass, or streetpass,

the Xorpads are for like 3ds correct? But that only for 3ds files on the sd card, not from dumping the game in the system.
(Like from "That rom site")

Other than that is not necessary to use unless you need to decrypt the 3ds rom.

xorpads are just needed for any encrypted 3ds roms (both older dumps, and some found on that iso site), I think nands are the only exception to this.

Strange. I can't get Decrypt9 to recognize slot0x24KeyY.bin despite creating it with a hex editor (got the key from Pastebin). I placed it in both the root and Files9 folder. Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: I finally got the key to work. I was missing the last two digits. Now the question is about injecting the save: What changes do I need to do to an emulation save to make it work in my 3DS?

Edit 2: Never mind again. The injection DID work! Thank you very much!

Edit 3: It doesn't seem to work with Super Mario Advance 3 now. Is it because it's EEPROM?
