Its not better to use a shared save? Here you can download one that has all the amiibo costumes unlocked: http://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-save-files-compilation.427761/

Ahh, I see, thanks... as for the timer in NSMB U, I'm close to giving up on hacking that. I've been at it for days, and all I keep getting is the results in the 10000000's offsets and the false Timer cheat, and yeah, I used the Less Than, Unknown Value, and 16-bit search.

Is there a way to override the gamepad's yaw/pitch/roll without using HID to VPAD? My memory scans so far have so far yielded nothing.

Out of curiosity, will this happen again in the future?

Yeah, that how I did it for Super Mario 3D World.

I forgot to ask, Tommy, but after step 4 of my proposed process... do I do these next?
1. Do an Equal Search, starting off as Small Mario.
2. Find a Mushroom and use Not Equal after search is complete.
3. Do an Equal Search again.
4. Find a Fire Flower and use Not Equal.
5. Do an Equal search afterward, and exit the stage.
6. Upon returning to the stage, do a Not Equal search again and repeat from Step 1.

I come back to you, ladies and gentlemen, with one of my two primary goals of NSMB U completed, and that is the Extra Lives Modifier... now, I feel I should tell you that there are two--- count 'em--- two different variations of this code. Oh, and I found the Power-Up Modifier, again, two variations. Quite the accomplishment for a rookie hacker, wouldn't you say~? Remember, this is for the NTSC-U Disc, ARPE01, and likely these codes only operate for Save File 1. Oh, and let's not forget the Invincibility code~.

Code:
Extra Lives Modifier (Only on World Map):
00020000 36A6B16C
000000XX 00000000

Extra Lives Modifier (In Level):
00020000 3ED5AEA8
000000XX 00000000

Power-Up Modifier (Only on World Map):
00020000 36A6B170
000000XX 00000000
00 - Small Mario
01 - Super Mario
02 - Fire Mario
03 - Mini Mario
04 - Propeller Mario
05 - Penguin Mario
06 - Ice Mario
07 - Flying Squirrel Mario
08 - Power Flying Squirrel Mario

*Power-Up Modifier (In-Level):
00020000 3ED5AEAC
000000XX 00000000

Invulnerability (World Map Only):
00020000 36A6B184
00010X00 00000000
0 - Off
1 - On

* - For this offset, you'll need to go do something like complete the level then activate the code, die then activate the code, etc.

Awesome!, Now the only thing I recommend you do is make ram dump and use the Pointer Searcher to find the pointers. Maybe also make a copy of your save in another slot and see if you can find the other address.

Hoo, boy... finding those codes took me days, Tommy. Days. So, I'm not all too confident in finding these same seven codes for the game in different save slots in a short amount of time. On top of that, I'm still looking for the Timer offset, and I'm having as much luck with that as I am finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

On top of that, you're asking me to find pointers... I don't even know where those are or what they look like.

I recommended you pay attention to what the value change to and when the values change. For example, in Super Mario 3D world, when I was making the powerup code, I try to see what cause the value to change (in this case, it is when the character touches the powerup.) I also document what the values are (which you already did). Once I am fairly confident in how the value works, I do a specific value search in another area where I know the address does not work at.

Depending on how a game is made, the location of the address (let say for a powerup for example) is not always going to be in the same place for each game. In Super Mario 3D World, the location of the powerup address is different for each character per level. So there would be a different address for Mario, Peach, Luigi, Toad, Captain Toad, and Rosalina, and when you go to the next level, the addresses are different! So that is where pointers come to the rescue! They tell the cheat engine where the powerup address is located. If I were to make ram dumps of two different levels with two different characters, I would be able to find the ideal pointer that can support all characters and across all saves.

If you have Mario Kart 8, I recommend you watch and follow this video:

Just keep in mind that each game has a different range when finding the pointer. For example, in Super Mario 3D World, I was not able to find pointers until I did a Memory dump from 10000000 to 40000000.

I see... thanks for the info. I've found some cheats for Super Mario Maker, NTSC-U Disc, too. Power-ups and Coin values. AFAIK, I probably won't need pointers for that since SMM doesn't have Multiple saves.

I want to be very clear though, it might not be consistent across levels. It could change, so alway check to make sure, you never know.

That's what I plan to do before I release my code; wouldn't be any good if it worked for just the one level. These codes are for the Course Maker mode; they won't work in like 10-Mario Challenge.

it's actually possible to use any codes while using loadiine? i've found a few zelda cheats here > http://cosmocortney.ddns.net/codes/wiiu/twilight_princess_hd_usa_en.php
checked the memory and the address is correct (i've manually edited in memory viewer), If I add any of it and click SEND, JGeckoU says code is sent succefully but nothing happens...
Anyone knows if there's a tool that actually can poke/constant write into the wiiu memory or should i just give up?

Well... I've finally accomplished my goal and have now found the offset for the Timer of NSMB U [ARPE01]. I'm proud to present to you, my long pursued goal made a reality... and our feature presentation.

Code:
Timer at 400 Seconds:
00020000 3EDAB87C
00190000 00000000

As for pointers... eh, I'll leave it to someone else to find those... and yes, just like before, this only works on Save File 1, I'd reckon.

It would work if CosmoCortney's codehandler was installed. Why do people not get that finally?

Just out of curiosity, I assume invincibility works like the timer? i.e., the Starman invincibility where it relies on frames rather than a simple 3-2-1 timer?
