i want to play a mod on my wii but idk how to do it without discs. Anyone know how to do it easily. And also how do you apply only the patches you want?
Thanks.

You can try RiivolutionIsoBuilder, this can apply the patch to an image of the game.

A major point of revolution was to now allow for any kind of piracy. This is why Game discs are required within the app. Though after all these years I am not shocked that there is a workaround.

Ya I'm surprised if I had the money I could probably pay someone to help find a workaround it would be cool if USB loader gx had a way to use your wbfs files and select mods like dolphin has/does maybe soon

I've tried the following methods to see if Riivolution accepts burned discs, but all of them failed. I don't remember exactly what was the error message in Riivolution, but it was something like "couldn't read the disc".

- Using a modchip. I tried with Drivekey and Wiikey v2, Both of them managed to make the Wii recognize and play games without a problem. But when I tried to open Riivolution, it didn't work.

- Using a homebrewed Wii that can read burned discs because of the old dvd drive. When I changed the IOS of System Menu in Priiloader to 249, it read burned discs without a problem. When I tried to open Riivolution, it didn't work. I tried opening Riivolution's channel from USB Loader GX with IOS 249, but the same error occurred.

- The third option was to try using an external dvd drive, as uLoader supports it. But it's only supported by uLoader, so it did nothing in Riivolution.

The best option is to use RiivolutionIsoBuilder to try to convert a mod into a wbfs game image. But it's important to say that it's not that simple to use and not all games will work.

You probably can for simple asset swaps.

You can modify files you're able to use for USB Loader GX using tools like Wii Scrubber and simply replace existing files with the modded versions. I've had success using this method for plenty of Brawl fighter skins and the like, though I haven't tried it with entirely new assets for mods like Newer Super Mario Bros. Good luck!

Edit: I need better reading comprehension. I'm 95% sure KeinesR is right and RiivolutionIsoBuilder is the way.
