Copy payload_stage1.bin and payload_stage2.bin from the arm9loaderhax zip to a9lh folder on your SD card

In what you need.. I don't see it listed.... my desktop is a mess too with files, lol :)

Thanks,

ISO-Man
Copy arm9loaderhax.bin and the luma folder from the Luma3DS zip to the root of your SD card
Problem: It is labeled 'Luma3DS'

Copy Hourglass9.bin from the Hourglass9 zip to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card and rename Hourglass9.bin to start_Hourglass9.bin
Copy EmuNAND9.bin from the EmuNAND9 zip to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card and rename EmuNAND9.bin to y_EmuNAND9.bin
Copy Decrypt9WIP.bin to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card and rename Decrypt9WIP.bin to x_Decrypt9WIP.bin
Problem: There is no payloads folder (Do I create it?)

Help please with these 3 things.

Thanks,

ISO-Man

1) Move arm9loaderhax.bin to the root of your SD card.
2) Move the luma folder from the Luma3DS folder to the root of your SD card.
3) Create a payloads folder inside of that luma folder and place the Hourglass9/EmuNAND9/Decrypt9 .bin files inside of it.

*Fixed*Luma is Luma3ds.. Do I keep Luma3ds (as the zip has it) or rename it to Luma?

I can't find arm9loaderhax.zip either for the payloads files.

Thanks for confirming I need to create the payloads folder :)

There is a folder in the Luma3DS zip that's named luma. Move that folder to your SD card's root. You get the arm9loaderhax.bin file from the Luma3DS zip. Move that to your SD card's root.

Have you downloaded and extracted everything that Part 5 tells you to download?

I agree with the first part of your statement, but i feel like ALMOST everybody has at least one exploitable game most noteably oot3d and cubic ninja.
You know what they say about assume - it makes an ass of u and me. If I was the newbie with a 6.0.0-12 console, and under your instructions I went and bought a game to update to 9.2, and then I found out I had to buy ANOTHER game and a powersaves, or a really overpriced game to continue, and THEN found out I could have done it for free all along - I would be incredibly mad at you! Most people who come here are newbies having just got their first 3DS console and thus will have no or few games. Anyone who already has an exploit game, chances are they have the skills to work out what to do themselves if they've already found themselves homebrew (or at least they'll be asking questions at a later point, not the very beginning).

Yes... I need payload_stage1.bin and payload_stage2.bin from the arm9loaderhax.zip - I can't find the zip listed anywhere

Luma3DSv5.5 - https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Here is my structure of the luma zip file:
Folders in root: 3ds/menuhax/pathchanger
Folders in 3ds: Luma3DS

Here is my structure of the luma zip file:
Folders in root: 3ds/menuhax/pathchanger
Folders in 3ds: Luma3DS
The zip file can be found in "The latest release of arm9loaderhax" (hint: it's called noscreeninit.7z or screenint.7z). Download either one, extract it, and place the payload_stage1.bin and payload_stage2.bin into the a9lh folder on your SD card's root. You should have gotten the a9lh folder from the data_input_v2.zip file.

I don't need to know your structure because you don't need that for this part.

You know what? Send me a PM, we'll get this straightened out.

i know the basic process of dsiwarehax downgrade, but i have some doubts.

1) The original console can get the dsi game back?

2) If so, could we do this with someone else's ds without having it phisically?

1. Yes if two old 3DS or two new 3DS (not one old one new). Will take 7 days.
2. No, requires system transfer.

but thats exactly what i was asking? as to whether or not i could use the game "Paper Mario Sticker Star" as a entrypoint to downgrade my 2ds which is currently on the 10.6 fw.

So can i?
you can but it's not necessary because you can just use the internet browser.

You don't need Sticker Star. You can use browserhax.

You would only want Stickerhax if you were intending to keep your 3DS up to date, and wanted to get a secondary entrypoint working while browserhax still works for 11.0, to make sure you still had an entrypoint in 11.1 when browserhax will probably be patched. To even install the exploit on Sticker Star you need access to homebrew - which you can get via browserhax.

Asking whether you can use Stickerhax is like asking whether you can use the house key which is currently locked inside the house, instead of the one in your hand. To get the key out of the house, you have to unlock the house first. And at that point, you may as well continue using the key in your hand instead of swapping for the one inside the house.

since you have 6.0.0-12, https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update-(rxTools-2.5.2) would be the best thing to use to update to 9.2.0-20. please don't use game cards to update, it will only make things more complicated.

if that doesn't work, try https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update-(rxTools-3.0)
on step
Press down once to select FBI_inject_with_banner.app, then press A to inject

it fails and says no usable file found, even though I have already copied over the injected .app. Do I have to rename the injected .app to hs.app ?

I dont follow. I too this point assumed that the only way to downgrade from my current firmware of 10.6 was the use a hombrew entrypoint game such as oot or Cubic ninja?

What do you mean by "just using the internet browser"
