Do you thing that will possible to emulate Mario RPG with this in a future?

Like what @nl255 said. Super Mario RPG requires the SA-1 chip, an additional 10 MHz processor running side-by-side the main SNES CPU. The old 3DS has already almost hit its limits emulating the SNES CPU running at 3.58MHz. Emulating the SA-1 will be too slow on the old 3DS.

Dynarec won't be something that I'll invest time to do. So, yea, no possibility at all. :)

Btw I just tried Pilotwings... It seems to run quite well... Not sure if the ground textures look right though.

Can't you to what the old snes emulators a decade or so ago did and use texture packs to bypass the need to emulate the sa-1 chip? or was that some other special chip...

@Normmatt, I think you are referring to the SDD1 chip. :) That's the one that decompresses graphics... I think. Yes, you could probably load up texture packs.

SA-1 chip is an additional CPU that runs faster and in parallel with the original SNES CPU.

Since your project is open source, you are open to a fork by someone else with dynarec, right?

This is so better than the previous emulator with much better compatibility and savestates! Thank you.

@Billy Acuña - Nice, but I'm sure some parts of it can't be played because of the missing CX4 graphics.

@WooHyun - Glad you like it.

Dear all, I've just created a small compatibility list here:
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Snes9x_for_3DS

It's just something very raw and simple. I don't know how to color the table rows in the same it was done for BlargSNES.

But please feel free to contribute to the list!

Many thanks!

This emulator is very good.
Thank you.
Can you add a option to chose the path to roms on sdcard. At the moment it has to be on the same directory of .3dsx file.
Sorry for my bad english

Thank you very much for your hard work!!! By the way... Do you have an idea why cannot run bszelda and MK2? Those don't use any special chips iirc...

@bubble2k16 I think you should add a PAL speed option since some PAL games are optimized to the 50 FPS that PAL SNES used to run, because right now they run up to how they run in NTSC SNES at 60 FPS making it faster than it was.
