Also, the only N64 games I want to play are OoT, MM, SM64 and Paper Mario. What is the best emulator for those games?

I was trying to say that you couldn't do it with seperate emulators like VBA GX, SNES GX, Wii 64, etc... If RetroArch works than that's cool. Never really knew it could do that.

People have said they either preferred Wii64, or Not64. Either one should work, if you want to see a difference emulation wise I think it would be best seeing a 1 on 1 comparison, doing research, or just using both yourself to see which one is better.

For emulators, at least in my opinion:

I use RA 1.0.0.2 For:

NES (Nestopia, QuickNes; FCeumm)
Game Boy Color (Gambatte)
SNES (Snes_Next)
Sega Genesis/CD/GameGear/Master System (Genplus GX)
Turbografx/PC Engine and CD games (Mednafen PCE)
Neo Geo Pocket Color

After 1.0.0.2 the newer versions felt kinda rushed to me, and had problems. I think Mednafen PCE core was broken for a long time (maybe it still is?). I do not know which could be the latest stable version.

Retroarch is at first kind of annoying to deal with, but for me it pays off because it gives me a more clear picture than other emulators, and things like SNES Next work better than Snes9GX (Games that could slow down on SNES9GX don't do it on the RA Core).

There was (or maybe it still exists) a post on the Libretro forums for how to configure each core's resolution. That post was excellent to set up RA.

Mednafen Wii For the Virtual Boy Emulator.
Fceux GX for the Zapper games.
SNES9GX for the Super Scope games.
mGBA for... Well, the GBA. Is by far the best GBA emulator on the Wii, so much better than any other option.
Gen Plus GX Standalone for the Sega CD emulation (If I play genesis games I usually go for RA as I get a cleaner picture).
WiiSXR for PS1 (A new for of the old WIISX)
Not64 for N64 (An upgraded version of Wii64)

I don't know if I forget anything... I'll add it later if something's missing. Wii really has a nice ammount of emulators. Is a pretty decent emulation machine for what it is.

Also, I personally don't care at all about forwarders. I prefeer going to the Homebrew Channel, so I don't know anything about them.

Can any of these emulators make VC channel shortcuts on the Wii menu? That is the main appeal of the Wii VC to me. Not having to choose from a folder or list.

I totally get not wanting to pick your games from a list. Seems kinda boring. Buy I recently discovered WiiFlow and it's ability to launch roms with its respective emulator by selecting the games box cover. You can see a demo of it here ().

To get this working you are going to need the WiiFlow Masterpiece pack from here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-4-the-masterpiece-pack-by-abz.336543/). I would recommend extracting the entire contents of this pack to your USB drive. You honestly aren't going to need everything that's in that pack but I've had issues trying to pick and choose what I think I need and getting it to work. But by extracting everything to my USB drive everything worked great and it's already set up to use the best emulators.

Next you are going to need the covers. You can download the covers from this post here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-collections-for-emulators-with-cover-support.324714/). You just have to make sure that the covers are named exactly the same as the roms including the file extension. Meaning if your rom file is "Double Dragon.zip" then the cover has to be renamed to "Double Dragon.zip.png".

Once you have the pack installed, and your roms and covers renamed the hardest part if figuring out where they go. It's different for each emulator so rather then me going into detail explaining each one, if you think this is something you want to do let me know what system you want to work with and I will help you set it up.

Sorry for necrobumping this but this will be useful for users.

@NintendoFan06 , now it is possible to "Brighten" more the NES VC games by replacing the dark color pallete with a colorful and brighter one.

I got so many help from several people /thanks to @SunkenSkunk, @NoobletCheese, @SuperrSonic for the help) and i got it to replace the dark color pallete with a brighter one.
