You don't get the point.
Cemu isn't illegal, because it doesn't contain any illegal/copyrighted material.
And it doesn't give you the ability to download games.
It lets you play your own legal dumped games which were dumped by you.
If they weren't dumped by you, it's illegal to play them using Cemu, even if you already bought the game!! :O

Well Nintendo's position is clear that they consider copying devices and emulators the same as ROMs:

"Personal Websites and/or Internet Content Providers sites That link to Nintendo ROMs, Nintendo emulators and/or illegal copying devices can be held liable for copyright and trademark violations"

This is besides the point though. It's laughable to give a crap about obeying an NDA for a development kit when you're going down this road, where they would have to track you down amongst hundreds of people, much less even PROVE you reverse engineered anything in the first place. It's like going to go buy some weed and then giving a shit if your seat belt is buckled or not.

The only sucky thing is,the means that we copy the games are considered illegal by nintendo. It would be nice if they had a system of some sort where you could turn your actual games into digital titles without hacking but nintendo will never do this so we have to.

It's like I always thought, the question here is simply money, eventually. The longer the delay, more patrons arise, I'm wrong? And please stop say that he is working hard or anything like that, stop pulling bag.

In what way is he delaying anything before everyone starts an ignorant argument. He said NEXT Wednesday, around 2 weeks public build of 1.5.3 released so the time frame isn't really any different.

@lucianobugalu,
Guy like you shouldn't bother with Cemu in the first place . Making Money ? Everyone does that and even more than what Exzap could earn . Just looking around , Dolphin Gold / PPSSPP Gold on Google Play for $5 per app . PPSSPP for example got 100000 download , $5 x 100000 = $500000 !
Cemu is completely free unless you want to join Patreon and support . He does not force you to do so or anything
IF you think you could make a better emu . Do it ! Don't just talk non-sense and bother Exzap

Last edited by IIYAMA,
Looking at this shows cemu is ready for shaders now lolz

You do realize the gray looking map is actually Ambient Occlusion?
Almost all modern games use AO (Ambient Occlusion) for their maps, and SSAO is another thing which is basically a post processing effect.
Mario games tend to use a lot of normals, ambient occlusion, etc. and many shaders and post processing effects.

Take it from a game developer such as myself.

Nintendo doesn't even care unless you are profiting from it in some way.

Regarding NDA, most of the people here are uneducated about proper game terminology and its laughable.
An NDA requires you by law that you shut up and not say or show anything provided by the NDA holder.
NDA is basically a job killer if you spill the beans on anything, little or small.

No one person is going to ruin their career over one slip-up, it's unreal and whoever mentioned that needs to get out of here immediately.

but it is not a week after the release of the public version, then how Ales s said it's only Wednesday next week

It's whenever he decides to release it, read the damn boards and pay attention.
