Is it possible to run split WBFS files in WiiFlow?
I have a WBFS file that's 4.2 GB, (CTGP Revolution) and it obviously doesn't fit on a FAT32 formatted drive. I've split it to two 2.1 GB parts, and I don't know how to run it it WiiFlow. I've made a folder structure like this:
Code:
/WBFS/Mario Kart Wii CTWW1.02 [RMCECT]/"RMCECT.part1.wbfs" and "RMCECT.part2.wbfs"
Are they supposed to show up like this? If not, how do I make them show up?

Okay, I've re-initialised the folder, and now it shows up, but when I select it, the console goes back to the Wii Menu. :(
Did you read the section on Wii Backup Manager in the stickied guide?

he is on linux.
His issue is because of the filename.

RMCECT.part1.wbfs

The correct name is :
TitleID6.wbfs
TitleID6.wbf1
TitleID6.wbf2

not TitleID6.part_number.wbfs

I told him to use Wit instead, he is currently splitting the game again. it should output the files to the correct filename and format this time.

Wit huh? Is that open software? Or only Linux? Jw, it would be great to put an open source solution in the guide as well for people who do not have Windows.

Oh, okay, I'll pay attention to that.

It's part of the wwt/wit suite:
Wiimm's ISO tool http://wit.wiimm.de/wit/
Wiimm's WBFS Tool : http://wit.wiimm.de/wwt/

WWT = manage a WBFS partition or a WBFS file container. (a wbfs file IS a partition image binary dump with a single game in it)
WIT = manage a Wii game ISO file format (ISO, wbfs, wia, wdf, etc.)

I already mentioned these tools in your guide's thread.

it's multiplateform, works on linux/mac/windows.
But it's command line only, so a lot of users are lost with this program.
some users released few (more or less good) GUI for these tools. I can search and give you some.
edit:
wiijmanager
WitGUI
qtwitgui
WiiBackupfusion

Awesome! Thank you. I will try this software out and see if maybe we can get something multi-platform for formatting instructions too. Bootice works wonderfully but I believe it is only for Windows.
